Miami Media Hates Ron DeSantis: Blackout of his press conferences
WOFR, WPLG, WSVN, WTVJ | 10/9/2024

Ron DeSantis is holding a hurricane update in Tallahassee right now (8:30 am). Not a single local Miami media TV station is covering the event.

This is how you know:

1. DeSantis is doing a great job. 2. The local Miami media hates him.

The bias is nauseating.

Kamala hates him for sure. Bet she doesn’t go down to Florida again.

Literally malfeasance not covering his presser can literally result in people dieing. The media would rather see people die than do anything against thier desire for political power.

He is prepared to lead. Can’t ask for much more than that. If I were a Floridian, I’d be proud to have him as governor.

You’d think MSM not covering a governor’s updates during a crises would enough to pull their broadcasting license.

Loved his comment to the reporterette who asked for how much damage has been assessed. His response give me a break. It is just after day break so we have no assessments.

DeSantis needed to stay as Fl Governor instead of the Republican nominee for president. People need competent leadership and DemoRats suck at it. Let the citizens see the contrast in action.

I’m in Rome today and saw bits of the press conference here. But nope, back home can’t cover a strong republican governor…

This is why online ‘alternative’ news is crushing legacy media.

E.g., Dan Bongino beats CNN and MSNBC combined on live stream.

Just watched DeSantis detailed briefing on NewsMax. The assets he has marshaled is truly impressive. The Floridians set the standard for hurricane management, having gained this experience through many past events.

He’ll finish his term as Florida governor, but will definitely be pursuing the White House in 2028.

DeSantis is good but I’m leaning towards Vance in 2028.

I watched... his handling of this is unsurpassed for efficiency and organization.

The guy was not off somewhere posing for cameras and grandstanding, while people on the ground suffered.

Joe and Kamala are absolute tin horns in the way they approach problems and it's more apparent with every situation that calls for responsible ‘leadership’ . Kamala has an excuse, she's plum dumb but Joe has been around long enough to know what has to be done!

He’s term limited. We have him for a couple of more years though.

If Trump had any sense, he’d make DeSantis the AG. But I think he’s too jealous of De Santis and too afraid of being overshadowed to give him a decent position. De Santis has been very supportive of Trump but, unless I missed it, Trump hasn’t even given de Santis a word of support during this. Although he did let some out of state linemen stay at one of his properties.

Even Biden said something positive. Kamala, of course, first tried to attack de Santis and now is trying to claim that she was actually out there “providing support’ in TN (where De Santis had immediately sent our state guard to help). She didn’t even appear to know about TN until almost a week afterwards.

Trump is missing a chance to get some support in Florida by supporting our governor. Trump needs that support, but his earlier attacks on De Santis turned off a lot of people here.

Criminally irresponsible of the media.

Preventing people from hearing what preparations and resources are being marshaled for a major storm. It’s disgusting.

Get over it. DeSantis is supporting Trump.

Bitterness will make you sick.
