“That’s all you can eat!”.................
You can’t get a doggy bag at a buffet!!
Are Gen Z really this stupid???
Not a problem, I won’t be in Kali, especially San Fran and I don’t eat bait.
“Are Gen Z really this stupid???”
Yes. And entitled.
Don’t be so greedy next time honey.
You deserved that dressing down.
From what I have seen, Yes, they are............
Yes.
I'm starvin'!
Been to SF a number of times, nothing worthy of ever going back to it...
$5 to take home leftovers from an AYCE sushi restaurant? What a great deal! Not many AYCE restaurants will even offer you a to-go box.
We ALWAYS take our leftovers home from restaurants and they are always delicious the next day.
We ate dinner last night with friends at a wonderful pizzeria called “Embers on the Lake” in Hauser, Idaho. My wife had cold pizza for breakfast. If you go, be SURE to order the “Truffleupagus” wood-fired pizza!
The author is a total jerk.
” I don’t eat bait.”
I know chickens are used as bait for gators but what are tunas used for?
We’ll miss you. Too bad.
All I see in the pic of post #1 is pin worms.
Some people would back up a cargo van.
I watched a video of a guy loading up his plates with lobsters at an all you can eat buffet (ignoring a one lobster per plate sign) and then throwing most of them away! What is wrong with people?
“The author is a total jerk.”
100%. I read this thing and her tone just rubbed me the wrong way, as if she couldn’t believe why the restaurant staff might have been annoyed.
The writer went alone. They didn’t have space for a single diner, so she was seated with a pair and a trio, which she didn’t feel like doing. At the end, they were all charged an 18% gratuity — even though it was three separate parties. Weird.
Probably should order more food as you eat, not half a dozen items at once, as the menu seems to suggest.
Nobody teaches GenZ that the left lane on the highway is for passing traffic.
I guess there is a first time for everyone at a buffet.
I agree with some of the posters here though. It seems like it should be common knowledge, or even common sense, that all-you-can-eat doesn’t mean all-you-can-waste. Also, you can’t take allyoucaneat food as take-out.
What’s to stop people for asking to take 20 pounds of food home with them so they can eat all they can for days and days.
A friend and I visiting Maryland pushed it pretty bad once at a sea food joint. Even though we weren’t breaking the unwritten rules about waste, we were there for 3 and a half hours before the manager asked us to leave. My friend protested rather sternly, and even wanted to call the managers bluff when he threatened to call the police, but I talked him out of it.
That's an A-hole request. No wonder he was scolded. He deserved it.
