Like the sign in many Navy shore galleys: “Take all you can eat, eat all that you take.”
Admittedly that was decades ago, but it’s still good advice. The selfish little author was just looking for something or someone to criticize. She made a fool of herself and her publication.
Their problem with food waste was of their own making. Kind of surprising they’d rather take some of that food back than give you a doggy bag....unless they were planning to serve it to someone else later. They pull this a few times & they could easily be out of business. Plainly looks to me like they were planning to sell a lot of doggy bag & if that doesn’t happen, then they better rescind that “special” while they still have a business.
