Your kidneys are some of the most important organs in your body. Not only do they remove waste and excess fluid from your blood, but they maintain the levels of potassium, sodium and other essential minerals that your body needs to survive. The kidneys also create hormones that regulate important health factors like blood pressure and bone strength. But despite all that, they still remain underappreciated compared to organs like the heart or lungs.

The kidneys do a lot, so they can become overworked without your notice. Roughly one in seven American adults has chronic kidney disease, which can cause waste and fluid buildup in your body.

I eat in a week all of the 13 foods, except arugula. None of stores in my area sell arugula.

All of these foods, with the exception of fatty fish (I just can’t eat fish.) are my general daily foods.

Understand, Mermaid Girl. It would be like eating your in-laws... :-)

I cannot eat raw arugula, but cooked arugula has a whole different flavor.

You will still need to add a few drops of sweetener for the bitterness of the pith of the lemons— but the effects are amazing.

Right on. Roasted, grilled, mashed, General Tso’s, casserole, etc.

I love everything on that list! More importantly, I can eat everything on that list.
No exclusions!

I hated liver as a kid. So did my wife, so we have never served it.

The only liver I like is the one inside of me…..

“Viva La Liver!”, rumored to have been the first title to what became a hit movie starring Elvis and Ann Margaret.
Ann didn’t like the title.

I don’t discount liver’s health benefits. I just can’t stand the taste. My Mom didn’t care how much ketchup I dumped on it, as long as I ate it, lol.

It’s calf liver that tastes awful. Quit steak for a year and throw some onions on beef liver. I guarantee you after a year you won’t need the onions and the liver will taste better than steak.

...then I got to cauliflower. I will happily give up 20 years before I ever taste that weed again

A friend of mine is partial to "cauliflower pizza." Not to nauseate you but I fear the cauliflower is not a topping, it's actually a substitute for bread. :(

I would never.

I prefer cauliflower uncooked, the way nature delivers it.

Ironically, the cauliflower pizza crusts aren’t horrible (I can’t taste it). Long story haw that came about.

But double aught wheat pizza flour is the only way to go (not the gluten free garbage).
