When actress Rachel Zegler gives an interview, Disney executives get nervous. The Snow White star has caused no small amount of PR damage from speaking off the cuff, and her latest interview with Variety features its fair share of zingers.
Rachel Zegler casts herself as the victim of sexism in the backlash to her Snow White comments, claiming people deliberately misinterpreted what she said in order to see a woman being torn down. Later, she doubles down on her “free Palestine” activism — a phrase that has been adopted by anti-Israel activists demanding the elimination of the Jewish state.
She also drops a few f-bombs — not exactly behavior becoming of a Disney princess.
Zegler ignited an enormous backlash from Disney fans last year over comments in which she insulted the original 1937 animated film. Old videos resurfaced showing the actress pompously trashing the Disney classic, claiming that the Prince character is a creepy stalker and that women no longer crave romance.
Her snarky attitude created a PR nightmare for Disney’s live-action remake, in which she plays the title role. The release was pushed back by a full year to 2025 amid the PR blowback, as well as reports of extensive reshoots.
In an interview this week with Variety, Zegler cast herself as a victim of sexism, saying she wasn’t surprised by what she called people’s willful misunderstanding of her comments.
“I’ve watched women get torn down my whole life, my whole career,” she said. “We’ll watch it in the election that’s upcoming. We’re gonna witness that for a long time, I fear. Sometimes it can feel like we’re going back; it certainly felt that way when that was happening.”

The media has done a good job of hiding Gal Gadot laughing along with Rachel Zegler’s comments.
They have had at least three re-shoots on this picture have spent around $500 million producing this thing and that is before marketing cost. They will never make their money back on this movie. It may end up being one of the biggest flops ever in Hollywood.
Because of a lot of controversial talk, they ended up using CGI to do the seven dwarfs rather than higher real actors who needed the work
This film is probably going to be the ultimate DEI nightmare. If Disney had any sense at all, they would pull the plug on this film lock it up in a vault and take the write off and never ever let the public see this thing.
If they send it straight to Disney+, they’re not gonna be able to write off the entire picture. The only way to do that is to never show it.
In actuality, this movie will need to make over $1 billion just to break even
Well, either way I’m going to enjoy watching it fail spectacularly. If it goes to Disney+, then it’s a TKO, if they don’t show at all and write it off then it’s a just a straight knockout.
Either way, I’ll be grinning ear to ear if it happens
“In actuality, this movie will need to make over $1 billion just to break even”
You must have inside info on the budget of the movie. I’m finding via searches that it’s 209 million.
General rule of thumb marketing doubles that amount before a profit is seen.
Principal filming was done in 2022. Test screenings did not go well, as a result there have been 3 reshoots of the film. That has added significantly to the costs and right now estimated costs are at least between $400 and $500 Million, this does not include marketing costs.
I follow some entertainment channels on YouTube that have been covering this story pretty closely and the figures I mention are based on their research. Disney films a lot of stuff in the UK for tax reasons, they offer up to a 25% rebate on production costs for filming there so those Tax records are public information, this where a great deal of this information comes from.
So yes they will have to gross over $1 Billion to even think of breaking even.
Like all Jew-haters, the woman is scum and not worthy of any attention.

Disney should just scrap the entire project, burn the films and start from scratch with an entirely new cast........................
