We may be about to find out what is made here and what isn't.

All of you war mongering Republican neo cons. So we are to fight in massive global conflicts but may not survive a longshoremen strike? LOL, the USA is a de-balled paper tiger. Thanks Free Traitors. This is the disasteous “Limbaugh legacy”. He made Free trade "cool". Spit.

#1 The “truth” product. The media will blame everyone and anything but Biden/Harris/Buttegeig

I can see getting more money, but how ya gonna stop automation?

Higher pay ==> More automation.

Guaranteed.

yep, it’s going to be a hard wake up call for those who pay no attention to how things are made and where materials come from. All I know for sure is America is in a sad state of affairs and I don’t see it getting any better.

No but they turned it down anyway - 77% or bust; plus, the guarantee of NO AUTOMATION EVER.

77% would boost crane operators to over $500K

ESPECIALLY we don’t “need” the public employee unions at any level and place.

The globalists have a lot to lose with the longshoreman strike.

The labor union holds a good hand of cards, while management has a bad hand.

Management is every bit as bloated on their income, as the union goon contracts on theirs, except for one huge difference.
Management can’t move any goods through the ports without labor on the ground. They can’t, it’s impossible, they’ll reroute what they can and live with the consequences.

Becoming dependent on foreign producers for both essential & nonessential goods is one of the stupidest economic decisions in American history.

“Oops”

They might be worried about union votes but it’s too small of a group to worry that much about.

It's not the union votes that do much, it's the union dollars and campaigning and vote pushing that really helps the Dems. Part of why the Teamsters not endorsing anyone is still extremely helpful, that's a lot of labor and time that's not organizing for the Dems.

I believe they want an 80% raise and a promise of no automation, i.e. A.I.

Ironically giving them more money will speed up automation as it will increasingly become cost effective over human labor.

I don’t think it’s that highly of a skilled job. They are essentially human “robots” right now. It’s a simple job, like assembly line work, doesn’t require a lot of brain power.
