Basketball Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo has died at 58 years old after a battle with brain cancer.
Mutombo’s career spanned from 1992-2009, and featured eight All-Star appearances and four Defensive Player of the Year awards.

Turbo cancer?
I always liked Dikembe Mutombo. Loved his Geico commercials too. RIP.
Rest In Peace, Dikembe.
Of course, he died from a vaccination. There. Are you happy?
One, it wasn't a vaccine, regardless of what the CDC and pharmaceutical korporations changed their definition to.
Two, no, I'm not happy. I wish no one had died from the original bio-weapon or its follow-up.
I’m a big fan of gallows humor.

Deek was a fun player to watch. His post-game interviews were always entertaining.
Brain issues are also a leading cause of reading just the headline and hitting "reply" without even reading the first sentence of the article.
I’ve noticed over the years that, if you read far enough into the blogs, the comments have less and less to do with the article’s subject matter and more to do with desultory meaninglessness. ADD seems to reign supreme in the blog world.
