A Houston bankruptcy judge ruled on Tuesday that assets from the conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’s Infowars empire can be auctioned off to help pay families of the Sandy Hook mass shooting victims the defamation awards he owes them.
The auction, set for mid-November, will include Infowars’ website, social media accounts, broadcasting equipment, product trademarks and inventory owned by Free Speech Systems, Infowars’ parent company.
Mr. Jones’s fate as a broadcaster most likely depends on who buys his business. Though the Infowars name and assets are potentially of interest to a range of entities on the far right, under the terms of the sale anyone can bid.

Kindly provide us a video of him saying that. He had on a guess who had that as a theory, but he never said that. He did question things like why one supposed father was laughing as in his walking up to the microphone to make a statement that same day. I also think that’s pretty odd.

An example like this shows a serious flaw in our jury system. This woman was likely lying, and just didn't want to convict someone.
There should have been a hearing to determine if she needed to go to jail for contempt while the judge ordered a new trial.
If someone shoots your wife or yourself in the stomach, you should kill them.
If someone says stupid sh*t about you and your wife, killing them is a ridiculous over reaction.
It’s funny how you get called a conspiracy theorist for being accurate. He is by far the most accurate news source out there. Blows away the legacy media. New York Times paper of record? Laughable. Blows away fox. Fox is nothing more than a good way to find out the official line of the GOPe.

People forget, on January 6, it was Alex Jones standing on a platform not far from the Capitol with a bull horn telling people not to go to the capital that it was a set up.
One other thing, there was no trial by jury. The judge demanded that he produce all of his business records, he did so. The judge demanded that it specifically explain how much money he made from the Sandy Hook story. No such records existed. No news organization can break down advertising revenue by the topic. His organization literally turned over a terabyte of the history of the show, all of their financial and business records etc. The judge deemed that not good enough and enter to default judgment. All Jerry did was decide damages. This case was never allowed to go in front of a jury .

Not necessarily. Jury nullification is legitimate manager believes something is a mess. I wonder what the crime was in that case? I can think of more than a few criminal charges that I would vote not guilty no matter what evidence they had.

Also, the thought occurred to me that this woman is an example of why women weren't allowed to sit on juries for most of the legal history of both Britain and the US.

Well I can too, but i'm pretty sure this case is about a typical crime like robbery or burglary.
Jury nullification in the case of obvious and normal crimes is just jury interference with justice.

If it was, I’m with you. But I never heard anybody say what the crime was. I just know there are plenty of crimes, are plenty of prosecutors with deeply unfair agendas that I would never convict for.

Pointing out that the Jury did not award reasonable damages for the so called "harm" done to the plaintiff is defending the concept of Justice, not defending a specific man.
I don't care who the miscreant is, A billion dollar award simply shows the Jury did not do it's duty and did not render justice. It didn't even try.
Jury needs to go to prison. So does the judge. I am sick and tired of seeing the legal system used as a whip to punish people the regime doesn't like.

I literally believe his accuracy rate exceeds that of all main stream news media outlets including Fox. Almost all of his show is meticulously sourced, and discussion of new stories that don’t make it main stream. With a little bit of opinion and commentary thrown in. It’s very rare that he makes a mistake, and when he does, he leads with it as soon as he finds out, he doesn’t bury it on page 28B.
I still see stories about Trump being connected to Russia. I constantly see stories about him leaving an insurrection, and then an insurrection happened. Stream media is like a small town newspaper. Alex Jones is the little old woman who’s lived there forever and can tell you what actually happened, which families are habitual criminals, who owns the mayor, etc.
I fully understand that position and agree with it. I guess i'll just ask what crime the trial was about.

Good luck getting an uncompromised and unafraid judge that would rule against the Marxist left on that.... or on anything against the left. They are rare and few these days. Scalia’s death was proof that their threats are not empty (based on my speculation and suspicion).
