I was recently on a jury. The dude did the crime. He admitted it. He confessed on tape to a cop. There were half a dozen witnesses. Yet, one lady was refusing to convict. She did not believe the tape or the witnesses. Not only do these people exist, but they vote..... An example like this shows a serious flaw in our jury system. This woman was likely lying, and just didn't want to convict someone.
There should have been a hearing to determine if she needed to go to jail for contempt while the judge ordered a new trial.

Oh no....
I had a serious talk with her in front of the rest of the jury.
She said out loud that she hated me.
I asked her if we could still be friends.
Everyone laughed.
Then we convicted his ass.

(And the people said NO! The End)

Not necessarily. Jury nullification is legitimate manager believes something is a mess. I wonder what the crime was in that case? I can think of more than a few criminal charges that I would vote not guilty no matter what evidence they had.
