Trump has made 41 distinct promises for his first day in office, including mass deportations and banning transgender women from sports.
Donald Trump has a long list of executive actions he says he wants to carry out on his potential first day back in the White House. Among them: Begin mass deportations, eliminate perks for electric vehicles and ban transgender women from women’s sports.
Since launching his bid for a second term, Trump has made 41 distinct promises about what he says he wants to do “on day one” as president, and he has mentioned those promises more than 200 times on the campaign trail, according to a Washington Post analysis of his speeches.
While presidential candidates often trumpet their plans for their first day in the White House, Trump has leaned especially hard on this rhetorical device when he’s behind the teleprompters. His proposals often envision stretching the powers of the Oval Office beyond how previous presidents — including Trump himself — have invoked them.
More than 200 ‘day one’ promises

Many of Trump’s promises fall outside the scope of a president’s authority under the Constitution, according to legal experts. Even some of those that are within his purview would face legal or logistical challenges that would make them all but impossible to carry out on a short timeline.

and ban transgender women from women’s sports.....this is a lie. He stated that he wants men to play in men’s sports. And transgender women who are males to play in men’s sports. If transgender men who are women want to play in men’s sports, then knock yourself out.
I may be stupid but isn't that a tax increase on someone, because forgiving a loan does not cancel the debt?
EO #1 should be a pardon for any J6 protesters who’ve not been charged or brought to trial.
EO #2 Fire the 74,000 IRS agents Bidog hired
EO#3 Fire everyone hired by a Sh*tocrat in the DOJ-USSS
EO #4 Abolish all DEI/Woke curriculum in military academies. Any officers who disagree may submit their resignation. Return, as much as I hate to say it, to the Bill Clinton policy of “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”
41 signatures on EO’s,,,doable
Considering the amount of work biden does in one day, Trump should easily be able to undo several months worth of biden’s *work* in a day.
Yes, he’d be coming from a much better place than he did the first time.
It’s a start.
He’ll get it done, WaPo, in spite of you and your America-hating comrades.
FIFY
“I know, “retard” is a word that is frowned on”
It is? Dang, I use it all the time. Like Bubba and the shrimp.
Absolutely LOVE THIS !!!!
I know his first term had some bumps because he didn’t know the details about how politics works. He also trusted some folks who lied to him in the interview process.
With his experiences he is going to definitely be doing it much better this time around.
Very few people in Washinton wanted to build the wall, but look what he got done there.
It’s going to be an amazing four years for Trump!
He did say he will end the Uke war in 24 hours so there is that....
Biden’s work here is done...
If I was Trump, I would overwhelm the system, with a flurry of Executive Orders from word “GO”.
Make the lawyers work double-time to try and stop the EO’s from being halted, all while producing more. Keep them very narrow, and basically adjacent so that the courts can’t even up.
In the process, make it clear that anyone that in a Federal department that works against those edicts, will be fired. Hell, fire a bunch of them anyway.
Do it anyway...There are trained construction experts within the military. Consider building the wall as a training exercise.
Yep, just another one to add to Joe’s (oops, Obama’s) list of illegal actions!
He would have to declare martial law on the border and act immediately. The courts will try to stop him. Maybe the military will defy his orders.
What Trump should do on ‘day one’ as president play Salem and clean up the swamp fast.
