Russians are furious with Vladimir Putin's regime after Ukraine destroyed an important ammunition depot in Russia on Wednesday.
Ukraine fired around 100 drones at the depot in Toropets, in the Tver Oblast of Russia.
Kyiv says that Iskander and Tochka-U missiles were stored there alongside bombs and artillery shells.
Video footage shared online showed the depot up in flames after the attack.
Now, Russians have raged at the authorities for allowing the attack to happen.
Posting on a Toropets chatroom on the social media site VK, one woman said: “Why wasn’t the ammunition underground?! What are you doing???? In Kudino, houses were blown away! Why is the forest burning and no one is there... What kind of negligence is this!!!!”
On the Toropets chatroom, another commenter said: “People, does anyone know what’s happened to Kudino village??? They told me nothing is left of our house.”
One person added: “It’s horror there."

Oh, the bomb is in that pile of logs.
Russia has lots of trees.
Wake up! Your Russia can’t even take Ukraine after almost 3 years. All the trained and experienced Russian soldiers were killed in the first 2 years of this invasion.
And you say that getting rid of all this ammunition will cause Ukraine to further demise? No one is buying what you are selling.
**Russian military doctrine?
because it seems either stupid, inept leaders or intentional as I believe**
We got the same thing here. Good thing we’re not fighting.

Absurd logic!
After the American victory at Midway, the U.S. didn't rest upon its laurels. There was still a long slog ahead.
Only after Russia has been pushed back / has retreated to its pre-2014 borders should there be any talk about reducing our support.
Regards,
Actually, the best course of action would be to store their munitions in thousands of heavily fortified, underground facilities (steel and concrete vaults) scattered all over the country.
Regards,
Russia has millions of square miles of taiga and steppe in its Far East. The Russians could dig holes and bury a couple of hundred pounds of munitions at each remote site, and post a soldier there to stand guard over it (with food, of course; and the Russians could tape his favorite shows; do I have to think of everything?!).
Regards,
......... Truth told on that there comment ........
God solution - but they would also need to have a rial road close by and several hundred men at each rail depot to unload and load cars and whatever trucks they could muster. Then several hundred more at each storage depot to unload. Usually items are placed in jumbled piles. Sorting takes place when items are requested.
The Russians still use 18th century logistical system: no fork lifts, no pallets, no shrink wrap, no containerization. All loading and unloading is done by hand. Worse, their inventory system is paper. Needed items are requested by phone.

Comparing the demolition of one large ammo depot to the victory of Midway is crazed nationalist pridefulness. I get it that you all love your country and want the best for it no matter what, but you have to be realistic here and admit that Ukraine hasn’t got the strength to defeat Russia and NATO is very unlikely to intervene. Getting back everything Russia stole plus the Crimea is highly unlikely, and again, what’s this “our” jive? You’re not an American.
Again?

🤦
What scares me is supposedly (Col Ritter) the Russians have an “all in” policy on nukes. They will be pushed to the wall, or perhaps not that far who knows, then attack with everything they have.
None of these escalatory steps in THAT game: tactical nuke on the battlefield, a few tactical nukes on headquarters, 1 city, full launch.
Just all out “Red Alert”, “ Alas Babylon” attack.
Inept, corrupt and drunken. This is why Russia’s military is the way it is.
You Tube has loads of videos showing how bad it really is in Russia and the number one person responsible for this is Putin.
He has a finger in every pie.
