A Missouri woman accused of trying to defraud Elvis Presley's family through an attempted foreclosure sale of Graceland has been federally indicted, records show.
Court documents show that Lisa Jeanine Findley was indicted on charges of mail fraud and identity theft.
Her arrest warrant alleges that she used aliases and email addresses to create a fake company called "Naussany Investments" in an effort to facilitate the fraudulent sale of the famous Memphis landmark in May.
Court records allege that Findley claimed Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis' daughter, borrowed $3.8 million from the fake firm and pledged Graceland as collateral.
The arrest warrant claims she submitted those fake loan documents to the Shelby County Register's Office to facilitate the fraudulent sale. But a judge blocked it, records show.

If you’re going to defraud I guess you might as well go big. But this was just stupid. Graceland is a cultural heritage site and national historic landmark. You can’t just steal it without raising eyebrows.
She wasn’t going to ‘steal Graceland’, she was going for a monetary settlement to clear a fraudulent debt.
It’s not totally unheard of. Some guy bought the London Bridge. He didn’t know it, apparently, but he bought the wrong bridge. He wanted the Tower Bridge. Anyway he moved the London Bridge to Arizona. The Tower Bridge is still in London.
