Police have just released footage from Sunday's traffic stop involving Tyreek Hill ... and in the body-worn camera video, you can see cops yanked the Dolphins star out of his sportscar and threw him onto the ground following a dispute over his window.
The incident happened right outside of Hard Rock Stadium ... just hours before Hill was slated to play in Miami's season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

a dispute over his window.
Really?
this is a different angle on Smith yelling to drew that they are beating on Tyreek. Smith seems to be a little bit in disbelief

It does seem the window was the escalation issue that caused him to be dragged out onto the ground.
Why do blacks argue, resist, frequently bait, and basically try to ramp up the emotions with endless challenges when dealing with cops, especially male cops, and then act like victims when they are put in cuffs for control and safety?
Woopie Goldberg flies around with a half dozen security guys with machine pistols on her flights. Same with Oprah. Pure hypocrites.
Absolutely no reason to basically tackle a handcuffed suspect that is putting up minor resistance. He was not fighting, was not a threat to the officers or others. He just did not respect their authorita.
I ran with my windows down in Tucson all the time when I lived there 30+ years ago. My AC blew chunks. Couldn't keep up with temps. Of course, I was a much younger and much skinnier person back then.
Ya know, I keep hearing that. But in every one of these instances of "one bad apple" there is always a group standing around that doesn't stop the "one bad apple." Further to that, the "one bad apple" is very rarely charged with violating civil rights. It is only the taxpayers that are left to pay the civil judgment.
Let's see the good cops start applying the law to their own. Maybe then the citizenry will recognize them more than thugs.
I will agree...
Its also possible that Tyreek didnt want pictures being taken of him which is why he didnt roll it all the way down.
Misdemeanor traffic stop, not required to roll down window, only produce demanded ID.
Cops went way overboard on this and I hope he sues the heck out of the department.
Hill was a dick right from the get go. He demanded that cops not bang on his window, which he should have opened the minute the cops approached. Then he closed it and ignored their legal commands. No cop should be expected to talk to someone thru a heavily tinted window. Hill was insolent and defiant and he got what he deserved. Just because he’s a “famous” athlete doesn’t mean he’s above the law.
the thing that strikes me in this clip is that this is a multi million dollar man and they are laying him out on the pavement really too close to the drivers.
Yes. Obey your benevolent overlords and resist the urge to stand up for your rights.
It’s so simple.
I did that too. And I lived in an apartment with swamp. No fun. And I probably smelled bad all summer.
I did see an article quoting his agent saying driving without a license. not clear if he just didn’t have it with him.
Was this typical of how you handle a traffic stop?
Am I the cop or the driver in this scenario?
How about both. Granted, Hill was defensive. He didn’t like the cop banging on his $300k car.
Those are some nice brown shirts!
