Huge plumes of smoke and fierce fires erupted into the skies above the Russian city of Voronezh last night. Local residents in the southwestern Russian city recorded the devastating aftermath of an overnight Ukrainian drone strike.
Videos showing a large fire in which explosions can clearly be heard were shared across Telegram.
The explosive attack reportedly blew up an ammunition depot - the second time a drone strike has hit an ammunition depot in Voronezh in just two weeks.
At the end of August, Ukrainian drones managed to blow up almost 5,000 tonnes of Russian weapons. Following this attack, explosions and fires continued for almost two days.
This latest attack shows another failure of Russian defences, heaping pressure on Russian leader Vladimir Putin amid questions over whether he can protect his territory from Kyiv.

Agree with ending the funding. However, the answer for the billions of dollars wasted on foreign military aid to Ukraine and other countries is simply not to spend the money period. Something has to be done about the obscene budget deficit and foreign military spending is a good place to start.
We already spend nearly a trillion dollars a year on “defense”. Deploy the troops we are already paying for along the border with orders to shoot to use any means necessary to stop anyone crossing the border illegally. The cartels and illegals will test our resolve. After a few dozen are shot crossing the border the “migrants” will turn around, others will stop trying to enter illegally, and the border will be secure.
Even day American citizens lose jobs to illegal migrants, become addicted to drugs brought into the country by cartels, lose their jobs to lower paid migrants, and are raped and murdered by illegal migrants. Taxpayers in small towns and cities across the country are being crushed by the mandated social services spending to house, feed and educate illegal migrants being resettled by the federal government. The #1 purpose of a nation’s army is to defend the borders and the citizens inside the border. Why pay nearly a trillion a year for the armed forces if you aren’t going to use troops to defend the nation’s borders against an invasion?
