I do not think Trump picked Vance to help win this election.A large personal risk in order to rescue America. I did not know anything about JD Vance until President Trump selected him.
Like you, I think we can look forward to the time that Vance is President and we will all be supporting his actions, because (said to one of President Trump's Generals about why we were moving the Embassy to Jerusalem ) "because it's the right thing to do."

I haven’t gotten into Project 2025 so far. Might have to find a good summary somewhere since I don’t know enough to express an opinion about it.
