OK, so I may have used Twitter some 5 times in the last 10 years or so since I first joined. If anything is worth reading or posting - this is what Free Republic is for.
So anyway I go to X.com to see for reference a tweet I posted in 2020. X says I have no posts. AND it says I joined in July 2023. Google tells me that is when Twitter became X.
So did X wipe out all my previous Twitter posts? Has this happened to anyone else?
Not gonna lose any sleep over this, but just curious.
Am I misremembering things? We all know The Steal happened before our very eyes, but does anyone else remember seeing an EC count of better than 270 for Trump in 2020?
Yes, I saw that and went to bed.
And don’t tell me it’s the “Mandela effect.”
No. My profile page says I joined in May 2009.
I quit X/Twitter when they banned a post I put concerning a trans day of violence and warning people to be careful and safe. If I cannot warn others about a group threatening violence, then I do not want to be a part of that online community.
Perhaps the old mgmt banned you and that date is when Elon’s people brought you back?
That makes sense. Just that one post alone showing the true election results probably triggered the Twitter heads and so they deleted my posts.
That sounds very much like the sort of tweet that Jack Dorsey’s Twitter would have labeled misinformation and deleted.
Many tweets were deleted & many accounts removed between 2018 and 2022.
Trump had 232 Electoral College votes on December 14, 2020, which is the only date that matters.
Electoral votes are not awarded on election night, and they are not awarded by TV stations.
A lot happened after Trump won with the correct number of Electoral College votes early in the morning after election day and December 14.
And proof of my disappearing Twitter post along with thousands of other evidences were erased. And nor like with a cloth.
