The "Paradise" called El Salvador
Time Magazine ^ | August 29, 2024 | Vera Bergengruen/San Salvador

I told them, "Don't just take my word for it, because of course I'll speak positively about us and the government. But you're already here—you've got your cameras, paid for your plane tickets, booked your hotel rooms, and set up your internet. You've got everything: the people, the photographers, and the video cameras. Go to the streets. Ask people and don't go where--"

"Yes, go there, but don't limit yourselves to the most public or prominent places where the government might have some influence. No. Go anywhere. It is so safe that you can walk into any dark alley without any problem. Go to a community—head into a rural area without many people. You might hear a dog barking in the distance, but that doesn't matter. Go anywhere, ask the people. It will be rare if you find a negative opinion among the population."

Unfortunately, there are a LOT of vicious gang members from El Salvador that have been here for years - under “TP” temporary protected status, the first in 2001 b/c of an earthquake - TP that keeps getting renewed and renewed.

The vicious gang MS-13 was formed in Los Angeles, California in the 80s - by gang members fleeing violence in El Salvador.

For most people, that is a given. Wonder why our intelligence allowed them to proliferate?

“Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as MS-13, is an international criminal gang that originated in Los Angeles, California, in the 1980s. Originally, the gang was set up to protect Salvadoran immigrants from other gangs in the Los Angeles area. Over time, the gang grew into a more traditional criminal organization. MS-13 has a longtime rivalry with the 18th Street gang.

Many MS-13 members were deported to El Salvador after the end of the Salvadoran Civil War in 1992, or upon being arrested, facilitating the spread of the gang to Central America. The gang is currently active in many parts of the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. Most members are Central American—Salvadorans in particular.

As an international gang, its history is closely tied to United States–El Salvador relations. In 2018, the gang’s US membership of up to 10,000 accounted for less than 1% of the 1.4 million gang members in the United States, and a similar share of gang murders.”

Reuters:
“Human rights organizations argue that innocent people have been caught up in the policy, including at least dozens who have died in police custody.

“But Bukele’s anti-gang push remains widely popular with Salvadorans, and the country’s security minister told Reuters it would continue until all criminals are captured.”

My understanding is that he is working on the economy now - and the push for tourism in the Time article reflects that too - and that El Salvadorans in the US who have been polled say that they are hoping to return to El Salvador soon.

That model shows what can happen when you address the core problems that are causing people to emigrate. Kamala Harris was supposed to find the root causes for the immigration influx. They give this sob story about people fleeing gangs, when they don’t address the core issues that cause young men to join gangs OR the fact that the searing of their consciences by senseless violence (much like the abortion culture) creates people who cannot be trusted to walk free.

Politicians in the USA are deliberately enabling the destruction of the bodies and souls of hundreds of thousands of young people by arguing that everything will be fine if you just let them come here. And in the US, those same people are nurturing the same conditions in our own ‘hoods that created the gangs in El Salvador. As a result of these politicians’ failure to understand that it is a very, very grave thing to sear the conscience of a human being, we are creating basically sub-humans here and bringing in sub-humans from other places as well.

Jesus said that it would be better for those who cause the little ones who believe in Him to have a millstone hung around their necks and be thrown into the sea. What our society is doing is taking children who have a natural conscience and a natural ability to believe in God and we are turning them into animals by the lies we are feeding them. Yes, abortion is one part of that but it’s much, much more. As a nation we are telling them that all the things God has said are verboten in the public sphere. And even those of us who know better are afraid to be called out as “religious zealots”. We are letting our kids be lied to, manipulated, and turned into animals.

We’ve let people call us “racists” if we tell the truth about how minorities have been abused for the sake of political gain. We let tribalism keep us from conversing with those minorities who are able to acknowledge amongst themselves that fatherlessness aided by welfare is the biggest driver of crime, gangs, drug use, violence, etc in those communities.

America is a huge gaping wound and nobody is willing to say it out loud. This is the discussion we NEED to have. A lot of self-righteous people need to wake the Hell up!

The criminals and their enablers squeal loudest.

Bukele is making ElSalvador great again.

American politicians do evil and profit from it . They promote evil . I do not think Bukele is evil.

Also, it sounds like he recognizes that these people can never be allowed to walk free again. Their consciences have been destroyed; there is nothing that can be done but to keep them imprisoned for life.

I am a person who believe in the impossible. This is really hard for me to swallow. But I believe it is true. I lost my husband to severe dementia. At first I refused to accept it. I thought if I got rid of the heavy metal poisoning that did it to him he could be cured. But it was too late. The damage had already been done. The best I could do was to keep him safe, fed, clothed, clean, and very, very loved at home with me and eventually sing him into Heaven and let him go Home until I join him.

When the conscience is seared I think it is the same way. There is forgiveness. There is redemption. But I don’t think the brain and soul can be regrown. The same thing, I think, holds true for pedophiles. I believe the brain is too damaged to ever be made fully whole from that.

Which is why God talks about the difference between sexual sin and other sin; sexual sin becomes a part of your body - and with pedophilia there is a sickness of the mind there that wants to feed off the innocence of the young, sort of like drinking blood to get the life-force from it, which is also strongly condemned in Scripture. It’s interesting that in the Tucker Carlson interview this guy talked about a former gang member who left the gang when he was going to be forced to rape a child for a Satanic ritual. It’s all connected. Satan is the great destroyer, and he destroys minds, souls, and emotions just as surely as he destroys bodies, families, economies, and societies.

The point in all of this, I believe, is that we as a people need to take seriously that it is possible to turn people into animals by destroying their consciences, emotions, and souls. In MK Ultra they use torture to create multiple personalities so that there can be an “animal” personality which will do all the heinous crimes the CIA wants them to do, while the normal personality is dissociated and knows nothing of the literal animal lurking within.

Our society pretends that it is no big deal to sear the consciences of our young people. It is a very, very big deal. Until we come to grips with that, we will continue to literally murder human souls for the sake of political purposes.

Is that some sort of trick/sarcastic question?

No hate toward Bukele. Not that I really care as he is in El Salvador.

But, did he solve a problem or just push the problem someplace else. A kind of international gentrification, where a bad neighborhood is cleaned up, by forcing the ba people to move someplace else. Like what happens all over the country.

The solution for the U.S., surely you jest.

For starters, the Ultimate Iron Fist

End Birthright Citizenship and benefits for any and all Illegals and their kids. No more refugees and their benefits. No more asylum seekers and their benefits. That right there would eliminate about 90%.

And we offer a ride home to all of them.
EVerify for every business. Identify and locate all the people using the same SSNs to get jobs.

All of that is more administrative. Then we move to operational methods.

First, to make an example of the bad guys. Surround the apartment complexes that have been taken over by armed Venezuelan gangs and forcibly remove them. If they show themselves with a gun, no order to drop it, they are just shot and the body thrown into an incinerator or tossed in the Pacific Ocean.

Same goes for the cartel members operating in the US and running illegal grows all over the country.

Thats just for starters. Haven’t even touched on dreamers, student visas, visa overstayers and foreign aid.

Absolutely. Discuss away. It’s great to see opposing views.

For me, after really paying attention to what has been happening over the last 30 years, the lies, malice toward the people, I trust no one.

Pres Trump has exposed how easily the US is played or complicit in all the fraud and theft

I did security for State Dept people and listens to them talk and what little regard they have for the US. I saw reps from NGOs that were coaching Iraqis how to game the asylum interviews to get status to move to Dearborn, Mich. absolutely insane.

DHS apparently has a memo detailing prisons being emptied out. It isn’t public to you and me. Why not?

I think either before or simultaneously, the people need to be informed about what is really going on and how it is destroying people all over the globe as well as in our own country. We are not the “shining city on a hill” as they think we are trying to be; we are the money laundering center of the world that aids and abets every criminal who sucker-punches us.

Why don’t they riot? Because they don’t PLAY that there. You can riot, but they don’t call in social workers to ask about your feelings when you do. They crack skulls and bring out the teargas. It’s really the only way to deal with the animals they have in custody.

I worked in iraq a few years ago, alongside some hardworking Iraqi’s. Their complaints were really not much different than any of ours.

Main one was, corrupt government siding up with Iran.

Ours, corrupt government siding with leftist, China, wall st, Soros, hedge funds.

One guy had family that was settled in LA. They weee working to come home. The grass was not greener

Do you see an empty prison in El Salvador? What we objectively know is that they are getting UN warnings over their treatment of incredible numbers of criminals.

You can't point to any numbers to credibly back up your assertions.

I can tell you that I know people in the surrounding countries and they all wish their own governments did what El Salvador did. I fact, they've told me I can safely vacation in El Salvador.

Info from the UN…. Ha ha

The same UN that employees that were Hamas

The same UN that troops that were raping women and kids

Have you seen full prisons

If a prison is full, emptied out by 25% who are told to head to America and then refilled…you’re good with that

We have poured tons of money into El Salvador and all over Latin America and all it does is end up in the pockets of the caudillos.

These people need to fix their countries on their own.

I’m sick and tired of bigoted, pushy and ignorant Latino’s pushing their way in here demanding rights they’re not entitled to and benefits they didn’t pay for.
