I’m too lazy to look at that list. But the Tucker Torpedo was a failed car from that era. I always thought it was an interesting car. The Tucker Torpedo had a center headlight that turned when the steering wheel turned. And it had an armored front seat passenger well. So if you knew a head-on collision was coming, you could duck down and save yourself

How cool is that?

My uncle had the Tucker with that ugly center light. I hated to even be seen in it. Another had an Edsel and it was tricked out with a police interceptor engine and a nice rolled a pleated leather interior. The push button gear shift on the center of the steering wheel was kinda odd though. I only wish I had my 56, 57, and 62 Chevys from my high school years back.

Only 50 of them were made, if I remember correctly

Cool car, I’ve always like Tuckers, ahead of their time.

center headlight that turned when the steering wheel turned.

Personally, I think the third headlight would be a safety issue for oncoming traffic.

My dad professionally restored high end cars. He restored two Tuckers when I was younger, I had the opportunity to ride in both of them. I remember both of them being very fast and handling very well. They were a very advanced car for their day.

It was cool until you realized that you were actually more likely to die if you unbelted (assuming you even had belts) and dropped into the footwell.
