Kamala Harris’ father, her only living parent, was not in the audience with the rest of the vice president’s relatives during the most important speech of her political career Thursday night.
Donald Harris, a leftist economist who turned 86 Friday, was conspicuously absent from the row of family that included husband Doug Emhoff and his two adult children, Cole and Ella, as well as Harris’ younger sister, Maya Harris, and her family at the United Center in Chicago.
While Harris spoke lovingly of her mother’s influence on her life in her speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination, she only fleetingly mentioned Donald, cutting him out of her briefly recounted life story from the time she was in elementary school.
She said from then, “it was mostly my mother who raised us.”
The estrangement between father and daughter is so pronounced, Harris has never publicly acknowledged she has a stepmother. Carol Kirlew, 70, is married to Donald Harris and is a former World Bank executive.
Both were born in Jamaica, and now live in a Washington, DC, condo a short drive from the White House, according to public records.
It’s not clear if Donald Harris had been invited to the Democratic convention or if he chose not to attend. He did not return a request for comment Friday.
“At the park, my mother would say, ‘Stay close.’ But my father would say, as he smiled, ‘Run, Kamala, run. Don’t be afraid. Don’t let anything stop you,’ ” Harris said during her speech. “From my earliest years, he taught me to be fearless.”

Hes the BKACK PARENT!
1/2 black, 1/2 Irish/Scot.
Her father, Donald Harris has been absent from the DNC convention, so it’s unlikely he’d make an appearance when Kamala took center stage on Thursday.
In fact, Dad has chosen to stay absent from his daughter’s political life. He did not make any public remarks or appearances during her 2020 vice presidential campaign.
The first and last time Donald Harris weighed in on her political career was in 2019, in the midst of her first presidential bid. His comment came after Harris responded to a radio interview question about whether she had smoked marijuana by saying, “Half my family’s from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?”
Her dad was upset that Kamala insinuated her family were drug users. Dad’s response was a slap in the face to his daughter:
“My dear departed grandmothers... as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics,” Dad wrote. “Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty,” he added.
Kamala’s campaign did not issue any comment in response.
She didn’t want commie daddy see her pretend to not be a commie.
He identifies as white.
People should be chanting “who’s your daddie?”
The putative PUTATUS Markled her father.
Thanks for posting. The more true information we get...SHEESH. F all these lying, deceiving, in-your-face, traitorous, republic destroying criminals.

Father of Donald J. Harris: Oscar Joseph Harris (1/4 white)
Mother of Donald J. Harris: Beryl Christie Finegan

Father of Oscar Joseph Harris: Joseph Alexander Harris
Mother of Oscar Joseph Harris: Christiana Brown (aka “Chrisy”) (1/2 white)

Father of Christiana Brown: Hamilton Brown (100% Irish)
Hamilton Brown
Hamilton Brown was born in Co Antrim (Ireland) in 1776, the year of the US Declaration of Independence.
Brown emigrated to Jamaica, then a British colony, and became an enthusiastic slave owner on the sugar plantations that were the mainstay of the island’s economy. He opposed the abolition of slavery across the British Empire in 1832 and went to Antrim to replace his slaves with workers from his native county.
The Irish formed a significant portion of the early white population in the British colony of Jamaica. Hamilton Brown emigrated to this Caribbean Island around 1795, initially working as an estate bookkeeper before amassing extensive land holdings. He became a wealthy cattle breeder and sugar plantation owner, at various times owning, managing or serving as executor for several dozen estates in Jamaica (mostly in St Ann’s Parish), including one he named “Antrim” after the county of his birth.

Her commie dad was probably ashamed of her dalliance with Willie and all the others.
So the comment about pot drove kamalas daddy away? I thought maybe it was because Harris was blowing a dude 30 years older than her for money and power like a cheap whore.
Harris’ younger sister, Maya Harris, is the one who wares under-ware.
Willie Brown took his place.
The vast majority of black democrat men don’t raise their brood. Many of the black democrat mothers don’t raise their young-uns either. If the children are not aborted, the task of caring for the child is nearly ALWAYS placed on the grandmother (with Uncle Sam paying the freight). This has been going on for decades, nearly reaching the century mark.
The concept of “family” does not exist among those in the hood. For them, the word family means their drug dealer or crime associates. The democrat party knows about the damage they have done to black families, but they don’t care. Margaret Sanger approves.
“Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.”
