Don Lemon? I don’t care for Bush, and I don’t care for Lemon even more. I find it difficult to think Bush would stoop that low, but let’s see what happens.

Back in 2004 i was in the streets of NYC with members of Free Republic and Protest Warrior literally fighting leftists hand to hand every night during the RNC. I was not a delegate- i voluntarily went down every night to fight for GWB.

I remember many of us here on FR defended GWB against the scurrilous attacks from the Democrats. You went the extra mile and hit the streets to fight leftists. He didn't do much to repay our loyalty, did he?

If he shows up at the DNC tonight, it will be the ultimate insult to his former supporters.

By that logic, Biden should endorse Trump.

Well, he kind of did. He endorsed his VP, who he has sometimes called Trump.

I think Biden perceives Kamala as being loyal to him, but I bet if he could endorse Pelosi and some other Dem's opponents he would.

If this is true, it’s going to make a lot of vets angrier than what they are already. People like my daughter and son-in-law who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not only them, but those of us who voted for him after Clinton.

TMZ reporting Beyonce’ will perform at DNC (might be a pre-recorded song/speech). Kamal/Walz does use her Freedom song.

Taylor is a pretty savvy businessperson.. doubt she would endorse Kamala.

Of course a performance vs endorsement are two different things.

And you wouldn’t think Harris camp would want to overshadow her big night.. but maybe that is the plan.

Just a disastrous decision. Daddy Bush was a lot smarter than W.

W was a better politican than his father. He was a natural at it. Like Slick Willy. But in different ways.

Daddy Bush was a better President, obviously. But you have to be a politican to get elected. He failed at that part. Remember "read my lips, no new taxes?"

So, you think Bush’s endorsement would help Biden? I think it might do more harm than good.

They are both terrible. Why would you support an extreme leftist?

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Me too. Consider the source: Don (is a) Lemon.

Revolting. The RNC pulled the wool over Americans eyes for decades. Trump is ripping the wraps away so that we can see who the party really is. It’s MAGA or hit the road Jack.

When I first heard today that there’d be a surprise guest at the DNC tonight, W is the first one that came to mind. Wouldn’t surprise me at all. Then I heard speculation about Taylor Swift and Beyonce.

Guess we’ll know soon (from news reports, not from watching the DNC).

Do you really think he’s selfish enough to help the Democrats destroy the country just because he wants revenge against Trump?

I don’t think so. I think he loves his country but stupidly believes we are better off with a Democrat POTUS than with Trump.

Ironically, it turns out the Democrats were right all along when they called W a moron for 8 years.

You thought H.W. Bush was better? So, you support the complete dismantling of the Reagan legacy, the next great leap of big government, including the ADA?

“Hasn’t W. done enough damage to our country with his endless wars and nation building, already? This would add insult to injury!”

Not to mention his “Patriot Act” which Constitutional protections for individual rights. Also his failure to build a border wall after Congress voted for one. Instead of a physical wall he built a “virtual” wall which could not stop a single illegal crossing. We also recall eight years of obscene deficit spending, after he inherited a balanced budget from Bill Clinton and Speaker Newt Gingrich. Bush also deserves credit for doing nothing about sub prime lending during his 8 years in office which resulted in the collapse of the stock market, at the end of his second term, and huge taxpayer bail out of Wall Street banks while average Americans lost their homes, their jobs, and their savings. Finally for 7 years he couldn’t find his pen to veto a single obscene spending bill filled with earmarks and corporate welfare.
