The same tired, worn-out phrases are being repeated endlessly. It’s like watching the networks cover the DNC convention - “electric,” “joyful,” “unified,” and other mind-numbing echos of each other.
Google Street View from 2022 shows the entire block surrounded by scaffolding. My suspicion would be higher rent and/or a landlord who wanted to remove the homeless magnet that the high-rent residents didn’t want around.

Due to recent high profile incidents at various shelters in NYC, police raids are now being conducted with the goal of removing contraband and banned items from these facilities. Critics call the raids draconian and accuse the NYPD of targeted harassment of asylum seekers, but proponents say the shelters are dangerous, and these raids should have happened a long time ago...
How will they all deal with having to drink real coffee?
Starbucks is predatory. They open more stores than they need, sometimes a block apart, just to put other coffee houses out of business. They don’t care if the store loses money or cannibalizes from themselves. Once the competitors are gone, they close the money losing locations.
When I clicked on the YouTube link the intro commercial was that communist a**hole running mate of Harris, asking for donations. I am ashamed of people who are so uninformed or brainwashed such that they think this guy deserves to be in any public office.
I trust they will keep their bathrooms open for the local homeless population.
Four more years of Biden/Harris and you will be able to buy a Park Avenue brownstone for less than a shack in rural Oklahoma.
No one with any sense would want to live in the cities.
