At least seven times today in the show's opening minutes, CNN This Morning ran the clip from last night's DNC of Tim Walz's son Gus getting emotional and pointing to his father as he spoke: "That's my dad!"
The panel collectively teared up, with Mark McKinnon saying "I've teared up every time I've seen the clip. I tear up thinking about the clip. I mean, talking right now about it I'm tearing up. Do you have any tissues?" McKinnon also swooned over Walz's speech, declaring, "I'm telling you, in all my experience, I have never seen anything as authentic as that speech."
Biden's former comms director Kate Bedingfield chimed in, saying "if you aren't moved by that, I don't know. You got a heart of stone." Bedingfield also referred to Gus's emotion for his father as "winning." Whether she meant that in political terms, or in the sense of winning as a family matter, wasn't clear.

I just wince hearing these “journalists” positively GUSH like teenage groupies over doughy guys and unintelligible women as long as they wear the (D).

He is not an IVF baby. That was another lie of Tim Walz. When called on it, someone speaking for Walz said that IVF is a commonly used term for fertility treatments in general. No one with any knowledge of it thinks that.
He is an artificial insemination baby which now has a new three letter name and acronym . IVF babies are fertilized in a test tube outside of a human body. Artificial insemination is fertilization inside of a human body, but without person to person contact. Both have helped couples to conceive. Only IVF can freeze embryos, which may be used or destroyed later.
I don’t know why anyone outside of your immediate circle should know how one’s children are conceived.

A friend of mine had their first-born child go to classes and stuff so he could be there for the birth of the new baby sister. I suppose he was 3 or 4!
I asked my friend “Hey - did he watch the conception too?”
After the sister’s birth I asked his boy how it was.
“It took a long time. And you know what Uncle 21Twelve? She was born BARE-NAKED!” (Hmm, I guess those classes missed some steps.)
