This is the moment Ukrainian troops destroyed a pontoon bridge in the Kursk region with a HIMARS strike, which could leave thousands of Russian troops stranded.
The pontoon crossing in the border region was built by Putin's army after Ukrainian forces destroyed at least three permanent bridges over western Russia's Seim River in recent attacks.
Video footage showed drones chasing down trucks and blowing them up. Drones can also be seen crashing into stationary military vehicles, while aerial footage showed the pontoon bridge being decimated.
The footage came as Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of trying to strike a nuclear power plant in Kursk, where it is carrying out the first foreign invasion of Russia since the Second World War.

Things that go boom in the night. Let’s hope that Zelinsky gets the job done and blows up the nuclear power station.
Isn’t HIMARS overkill for a pontoon? Probably could have taken it out with a drone.
So dramatic.
Killed all the Russians building the bridge, too.
Putin stronk! Kyiv in 3 days!
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!
(((PING!)))
... to be added to the best Zeeper-provided entertainment since Paul Shanklin parodies, ping me bro.
Still haven’t enlisted, eh?
“Isn’t HIMARS overkill for a pontoon?”
No. A pontoon bridge capable of bearing heavy vehicles is a very substantial item, made of steel and with each section weighing maybe 10 tons. And they are compartmented, so just punching a hole wont sink them. To destroy a pontoon segment you want a 105-155mm shell hit or something in that class.
One less HIMARS battery we can’t afford to replace and won’t have when China makes a play for Taiwan.
That was one expensive pontoon bridge.
When you get stuff for free you blow it indiscriminately
MAYBE PUTIN can make a deal with JOE about a bridge he used only a few weeks in GAZA.
The Kursk incursion took so many troops from the defense of the Donbas that the front lines there can no longer be held up. It has also diverted scarce artillery ammunition which the Donbas defenders now lack. The Ukrainian defense in Donbas is currently crumbling with the Russian side taking several villages per day.
There was some hope expressed that Russia would divert troops from its Donbas attack towards Kursk. But the Kursk operation is on Russian ground where the Russian army is allowed to use conscript unit to defend the country. Conscripts are not allowed to take part in the operation within Ukraine. This gives the Russian army a large reserve that it can use against the incursion.
What kind of idiocy is that? It’s not like a hydrogen bomb. It would end up being a monstrous dirty bomb for the entire f’n continent. Although that would be of little consequence since the hydrogen bombs would raining over the entire hemisphere shortly thereafter.
Yeah, I think that The marcus is already chubbed out for the day...
So many Ukie cheerleader nutters, so little time to reply to them.
Aren't your little Pomeranian teeth pointy today?
You may want to see how big these bridges can be. This article from the US Army has good pictures: https://www.army.mil/article-amp/207561/devil_brigade_armored_vehicles_cross_milford_lake_during_gauntlet_training_exercise
