Did you try just using the Windows “Snipping Tool”?

Start is when your target video clip starts, end it when your target clip is done. Save the file.

If you’re using Windows, press the Windows Key and the G key at the same time which brings up the video recorder. You can grab what you want, including from full screen, and edit it in the Windows Video Editor.

First get the screenshot into a video file (.mp4) using Start-alt-R which is a little flakey but I can always get it to work. Then edit in Microsoft Clipchamp - I think this is free if you have Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
