"History"? Who dafuq cares about history?
Fixed it.
They didn’t have to wonder about what sex they were.
8th graders, 8th graders. I had to keep reminding myself of that while reading this, I kept thinking High school seniors. Nope, this is a test for kids 12 - 13 years old. Unbelieveable. Just shows the incredible damage the communists have done to education.
May if most kids would have dropped out of school by the eighth grade to enter the workforce or if they were lucky an apprenticeship.
For most of society, If you could read and write and ‘do your sums’ you were educated enough.
And now a modern question:
Congress gave $210 million to a corrupt foreign regime. How much is left for the country after Joe Biden takes his 10% and the foreign leader takes 2/3 of what’s left?
This would require study, can’t do that nowadays!
It’s amazing how fast this country has taken a dump. Read Laura Ingalls Wilder books to catch a glimpse of the fledgling education system of the late 19th century and the education standards of the day. Also how teachers operated. It’s really impressive how it only took 1.5 centuries for our populace to go from Christian fundamentalist, educated, respectful, motivated people to the dregs we have today. Really uncanny and an interesting study in the human condition
“Define Personal Pronoun.”
Considering we have a SCOTUS clown who can’t do that we are Fd. And I bet she couldn’t answer a single one of these questions. And neither could that woman with a “PhD in Break Dancing” from Australia.
Did anyone actually pass that test?
I used to play 9th grade football against N. Bullitt and half my extremely racially integrated Army brat team was always fearfully and inexplictedly convinced that the very Klan itself was born there.
Most of the questions are stupid. It was 1957 when I was in eighth grade...and we were Waaaaaaay beyond that crappy little test.....with mostly useless information.
Funniest part: “Given by the teacher”
Wonder if even a modern teacher could verify the answers without looking them up online.
They had to be, because the real world back then was not very forgiving and stupidity had big consequences.
The "goal" is not to prepare students for life.
Rather, to prepare students remain in the "educational industrial complex" - "Big Education"
$$$$$
.
Here’s a 2024 test for 8th graders I found:
1. Josef Stalin was a hero for humanity. Please spell his last name.
2. What is 1 + 1? 2 or 11 will be acceptable answers.
3. The first line of the Soviet national anthem is:
“Unbreakable Union of freeborn Republics,
Great Russia has welded forever to stand.
Created in struggle by will of the people,
United and mighty, our Soviet land!”
What is the first word of the Soviet national anthem? Hint: The first few letters are “Unbreakabl*”
Heh, I’d love to see Kam the HO’s score on that.
Back in the day when young people were educated instead of indoctrinated into the socialist/NWO crap???
