Ukrainian troops have been pictured in the village of Poroz in Russia's Belgorod region, opening yet another front after invading Kursk earlier this week.
Unconfirmed videos widely shared on social media appeared to show members of the Georgian Legion and the 252nd Territorial Defence Battalion in front of the village club in Poroz just 2km from the Ukrainian border.
While thousands of Ukraine's troops have stormed into Kursk Oblast to the north, this is the first time they have been pictured in Belgorod, opening yet another front inside Russia.
Poroz is around 80km (50 miles) southeast of Pehklovo in the Kursk region, which Ukrainian troops have also reached as part of their earlier incursion.
Unconfirmed reports suggest Ukrainian forces entered Poroz under the cover of artillery fire.

Little Maxi is probably using the most bandwidth on all of FR with his useless, lying, ukie propaganda crap. If he would donate just $1 for every stupid thread he posts, FR would never have to do another fundraiser again.
What Belgorod doink? lol!
But I thought invading other countries was okay?
Except you didn't notice that the areas of Russia now under Ukrainian control are significantly larger than the areas Russia has recently taken control of.
If you are concerned about FR's bandwidth usage why do you post on so many threads about Ukraine? Your post isn't even about the article, or the news from Ukraine, or even US government policy.
Why are you using FR bandwidth just to launch insults at other members of FR?
I think capturing the gas pipeline control station in the Kursk region is even more important. If Ukraine wants to they can turn off all the Russian gas exports to Europe with a few minutes of work.
Just responding to another post. The war between Germany and the Soviet Union was fought on some of the same ground, with some of the same logistical issues.
Right now it looks like the part of the Russian army defending their own country is poorly led and falling apart.
Nice try at deflecting. You can easily find the FR posters who consistently support Russia and Putin. Some of them are busy on this thread.
The FPV drone operators get a clear look at the truck and often what is in it before they strike the vehicle. In many videos from those attacks you can see the panicked faced of the Russian soldiers, in uniform, seconds before they are on the receiving end of a shaped charge anti-armor warhead.
No, I've never seen any.
I will assume you only think so...
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Neither the Soviets nor the Germans had a modern logistical system as we do toady. The Russian still use the old Soviet system. Its a pointless discussion.
Foreigners like Ivan Preston from st Petersburg’s farm?
How’s the weather for you in St Petersburg, Russian Federation?
Hush foreigner. Go fight your own wars.
Update on the conflict in Ukraine for August 11, 2024…
- Ukraine’s “offensive” into Kursk, Russia was another example of Kiev’s costly public relations campaigns, this time designed to prove Ukraine can “bring the war to Russian soil;”
- In reality, Ukraine expended manpower and equipment it does not have to spare, as well as stretching its already struggling logistical network;
- Additional attempts by Ukraine to appear strong as its strategically collapses include alleged special military operations in Africa aimed at undermining Russian security cooperation in the region;
- Ukraine’s suggested involvement in military operations in Mali resulting in the death of government troops has resulted in the severing of relations between Mali and Niger with Ukraine;
- “Ukrainian” operations worldwide provide cover for what are likely Western activities conducted by proxy against Russia just as it does against Chinese interests around the globe and is doing in Ukraine against Russia, which itself is a proxy war;
For useless nato weapons insure see a lot of destroyed Russian equipment
My favorite are “ew” equipment destroyed by drones
The usuals really can’t help themselves
And isn’t it funny that all of the sudden they are concerned with civilian deaths
Guess this is what “stabilized “ looks like 😎
