Female NYPD officer left bloodied after she’s punched in the face by repeat offender, leading to wild caught-on-camera arrest
A repeat offender on probation allegedly punched an NYPD officer so hard that she fell to the ground before other cops pounced on the violent suspect on a Bronx sidewalk Thursday evening in a caught-on-camera arrest.
Ernst Delma, 41, slugged the female officer in the face when she tried to break up an argument between him and a group of kids around 7:10 p.m. on the corner of Rosedale and Randall avenues, authorities and law enforcement sources said.
Footage captured by a bystander shows the officer’s partner rush the suspect while other cops and witnesses check on the injured officer, who is still on the ground with a bloody face, sources said.
While the assaulted cop gets to her feet, her partner lands at least two haymakers on the suspect during the struggle on the ground, the video shows.
The injured officer sustained a cut to her lip and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
Delma faces charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, police said.
Delma, who is on probation, has numerous prior arrests, for assault and burglary over the past few years – including a July 2022 case in which he randomly slugged a woman along Broadway in Midtown, law enforcement sources said.
The woman, 57, was walking near the Minskoff Theatre, a tourist hotspot that hosts The Lion King, when Delma clocked her in the face, sources said. His brutal attack left her with redness to her nose and upper lip, according to sources.

Maybe he'll be in the 2028 Olympics as a "female" boxer.
the demographic profile of public women-abusers seems to be very consistent.
backbones, anyone?
There was a video a few years ago of a street scene in Brooklyn, in which one of the perps just picked up a female officer completely off the ground and body slammed her. She was helpless.
Over and over and over again.
Damn, I wish that cop would’ve have broken his arm or at least dislocated his shoulder ... resisting arrest, y’know!

Assisting him to the curb.
It’s bad enough for men on the streets. Throw in weaker, smaller females, and it’s a dangerous disaster. All brought to you by woke DEI run cities....
Funny how you don’t have the backbone to speak openly.
It’s because you know your thought is groundless.
The other cops should’ve beaten him badly enough to make him unrecognizable.
They're worse than useless. They're a hindrance, needing to be protected or rescued by the male cop, diverting his attention from protecting civilians.

You mean when the two black guys defended the white female victim?
We’ve been told that white women are Karens or cat ladies, so ready targets.
Try to imagine your wife is home, a 3x time loser lumberhead breaks into your home and the first person to show up is less physically capable than your wife.
Would he have done that if the cop was 6’2” man instead of a 5’6” woman?
Another wonderful gift to the women by the feminazis, telling them they can be cops, just like men.
Just another rabid animal left to roam the streets.
Those mental cases are everywhere...
So what do those who run these cities do? They hire females like your wife, or possibly even less physically capable.
It's truly insane...
no. I meant when the black guy punched out the female.
seemed clear enough to me.
Cops have always had to break up brawls or get physical with people.
But today we make people cops that are physically unable to truly do their job well.
Best bet with folks like that, give them low risk jobs, or pair them up with someone that can get physical, keep paying them, and don’t raise any questions.
