In a tragic incident near Houston, Texas, a Tesla Cybertruck owner was incinerated alive after the electric vehicle crashed and burst into flames.
KHOU reports that the fatal crash, believed to be the first for the new Tesla Cybertruck, occurred at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, just off the east Texas coast. According to police reports, the trendy but troubled EV veered off Cedar Parkway in the Baytown area for unknown reasons and crashed into a concrete drainage channel or culvert. The intense fire that followed left the owner’s body and the truck’s identifying features, such as license plates and VIN, unrecognizable among the char.
Local authorities, along with the federal National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), are investigating the cause of the deadly incident. The Cybertruck, once touted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk as “apocalypse proof,” has faced numerous safety issues since its debut in late November 2023, requiring no less than four recalls...

Burst into flame? Did he have gasoline cans in the back? Come on, it was an EV. Yeah, I know.

Tucker Carlson just did a review with one of his local buddies up in the back woods of Maine. They drove the Cyber Truck around on back roads. They were using it to haul a trailer full of earth/soil.
Most of the fun was the banter of these salt of the earth Yankees. Men who work in the woods of Maine/NH. Guys who typically drive F250s and other pick up trucks on roads that are not necessarily paved. They actually put things in the bed of these trucks too. Heavy, dirty things.

It seems the media only rights negative articles about one brand of EV - Tesla. Surely there are issues with the other brands of EVs?

It’s “apocalypse proof,” because it will bring its own, to you, before any other apocalypse can hurt you.

So a long, straight roadway outside of town near a warehouse district. Probably racing.

Even the truck’s identifying features, such as license plates and VIN, were unrecognizable among the char. All that was left of the vehicles occupant was a tar like material.

Which is pretty impressive, actually…

The Cybertruck that Musk blasted with the machine gun is in the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, My son and I saw it in May this year. It was crammed in with lots of other vehicles in the basement, er, "shop tour."
There's actually no shop to tour in the basement -- just LOTS of cars not on display in the main galleries upstairs. But you get a private tour guide and a couple of hours down there before it opens to the public. Our guide was SO smart!
