People Are Slamming "Unfunny" Joe Rogan After He Mocked Trans People And Made Anti-Vax Jokes In His New Netflix Standup

Joe Rogan is under fire for jokes he made in his new Netflix special, Burn the Boats.

Burn the Boats is his first standup special since 2018. It's also his first to stream live on Netflix after signing a deal with the streamer this summer. In the trailer, Joe teased that it would feature "some ride-home arguments" but stressed they are "jokes, folks. Just jokes."

Within minutes of the opening, Joe was talking about "woke" topics like trans representation and "pregnant men." He said that while he considers himself "open-minded," he believes trans men have been too quickly accepted into American culture.

"I'm open-minded. I just want to know what happened," he said. "It's almost like a pervert wizard waved a magic spell on the whole world."

I watched it and it was the funniest stand-up I've seen since Richard Pryor.

Truly brilliant comedy.

But he's getting really bad press over it. Dumb bastards are even saying he's not funny.

We have too many stupid people in the world.

I haven’t seen it, but I never was a fan of Joe Rogan and that’s going all the way back to his WKRP days. I always felt that show didn’t need him at all.

I don’t find him funny. Carpet bombing the air with f-bombs is not funny.

However, 20 million people find him interesting, informative &/or entertaining. I think that is more important than what I or the complainers have to say.

FWIW Rogan wasn't on WKRP. He was the engineer on NewsRadio.

That show (WKRP) was probably before Joe’s time.
It was on during the Carter years.

Yeah you’re right, I had that show confused with “newsradio” another sitcom that Joe Rogan was on. Still never liked him much.

I didn’t even know Buzzfeed was still around. Aren’t they down to like a staff of 3 people in a one bedroom apartment anymore?

Yeah, Joe Rogan would have been 11-15 years old when WKRP was on.

Not a fan, not my style. And I have no plans to watch. That said, it is good that people want to touch these ‘how dare you topics’.

Joe R. gets bonus points for realizing that there’s a metaphysical (spiritual) component to this deviant phenomenon.

But it’s not a “pervert wizard” at work. It’s satan and his demons; they have ripped open the fabric of the dark places in the heavenlies and come down.

Jesus and His ekklesia are rising up to oppose them. And The Book says we win in the end.

“And The Book says we win in the end.”

True. But only if enough ekklesia call to the Hosts of the Lord to intervene.

Me too. I don’t find him insightful. Lots of people do, and that’s cool, too. If this show pissed off the libs, more power to him. He just needs to come out of the closet and try to put his consider ale influence behind electing Trump; he knows how horrible the other side is

I think Rogan is an acquired taste for most. He is a ‘raw’ character without question. It depends on who his guests are if I take a listen or not. Some of them can be interesting and insightful.

I do think you’re right saying he should put his influence behind getting Trump elected but I doubt he would. He ejoys his celebrity status a he has a huge ego.
