So here are a couple of ideas I thought of recently, using tactics from "Rules for Radicals" which was not meant just for leftist movements but any opposition movement:
*when talking about abortion or illegal immigration, say "every illegal immigrant should abort every pregnancy they have". The leftist would never agree to that, their only choices would be saying no, which allows you to accuse them of opposing abortion, or they will call you racist, in which case you tell them that a fetus is not a person so you cannot be racist against it.
*Removing illegal aliens is "de-colonization"
*When someone falsely says Russia invaded Ukraine for no reason, say the Russian army are "undocumented migrants" and that borders are just lines on a map and racist
*When talking about feminism or Islam, say "Islam is right about women" because if they agree then you accuse them of hating women's rights and if they disagree accuse them of being islamophobic

When they claim showing ID to vote is racist because it's so difficult for non white people to get one, point out that they are in favor of allowing illegal immigrants, who typically aren't white to get an ID, and they want everyone automatically registered to vote when they get a license because it will give us universal registration.
I admire your effort. But most arguments with liberals will fall on deaf ears. It would be like trying to convince a zealot to change religions.
Liberals can change. Unfortunately, it usually takes an unpleasant life experience for that to happen.
As the old saying goes, a liberal is a conservative who hasn’t been mugged.
The left wing doesn't care about its inconsistencies and the news will not call out their mismanaged messaging.
The news will pile on Republicans for every misstep, real or imagined. Giving the left more to use is not a smart move.

The reason what the left does works is that the right has standards. They stand for chaos and we stand for order. Their mindset doesn’t cause them to be bothered by inconsistency much less contradictions. They just say, so what? It bounces right off their brain.

That is a good strategy except that requires logic and thought. Neither apply to the left. They would just call you a fat racist facist and run back to mommy and daddy’s basement to suck their thumbs in their safe space, make a tik tok video, and eat hot pockets they didn’t pay for.

What is fascinating is most articles that begin with a false claim like debunked Trump claims of…….
If you go far enough down in their own “article”( almost all are opinion pieces pretending to be reporting) thru will have content that disputes their own headline, but it is paragraph 46 that does that.
They know very few people read past the headline
I have read several “articles” that claim no fraud in the elections, but far down in the piece they do mention people convicted of election fraud

The fraud machine will be out in force this election, that is for sure, but I am curious without having X on their side like in 2020 will that make enough of a difference

I like to say, “I’m offended or that’s offensive” at what they say. In their weird world whoever is offended first wins. It throws them off and puts them in the defensive.
Once upon a time I worked in a leftist haven. Once they figured out I was conservative some of them would engage in political discussions. Whenever I cornered them with logic their tempers flared and they got over emotional, raised their voices and got angry. They never gave in. It’s impossible to win an argument with someone that thinks with emotions and then uses emotions to the excess in an argument.
The suggestions here will only work on logical thinkers. Leftists are not logical thinkers.
