I sure get tired of an Indo-Jamaican-Canadian “refugee” exploiting my flag all the time. Biatch. She knows that most people living in this country are fools and easy to lie to.
For “conservatives” in the 70’s there were flared pants. Sort of the RINO equivalent of bell bottoms.
What’s with that urinal-stalker holding up the sign....
I absolutely hated the clothes in the 70s. When I wasn’t in my Army uniforms, i wore denim jeans and western shirts with the sleeves cut off at the shoulders a la Jan-Michael Vincent.
We had Seafarer Brand Bell Bottom Dungarees, much cooler than Navy and Coast Guard standard issue.
Boom shaka laka, laka boom. kamala mal laka laka BOOM! Just missing the platform shoes— and bang Disco! Snort— Disco it’s time for STUIO 54 and mountains of obamaumao Cocaine. You know— for confidence and rapid word salad jive A@@ meaningless talk.
Directed to a very old, if even alive demographic, which isn’t BLACK! And sho ain’t Hindu/Indian.
I was part of the problem.
Though as soon as the 80's came I was in skinny jeans and black/white ska outfits. Gotta keep with the trends even if it meant cultural appropriation.
So, no Nerhu collar shirts or Dashikis stored in your closet back then?
Even worse, I wore polyester striped bell bottoms.
I prefer bell bottoms, easier to hide an ankle holster.
Powder blue leisure suits!
one of those things is not like the other.
As FYI Kamala was not wearing bell bottoms in that photo.
I have seen a few younger women wearing those. They’re okay. Kind of a nostalgic look for me. I worked at a men’s clothing store in the mid and late seventies during college, and we sold a lot of men’s Levi’s to girls. At $16 a pair, I think they were less expensive than actual girls’ jeans. They fit pretty well, except for the waist sometimes.
Hip hugger bell bottoms and halter tops. Ah, the 70s.
I wore bell bottoms in the sixties and seventies, they covered my boots.
It’s easy to lie to idiots who want to be lied to. It’s ALL about the feelz.
I’ve noticed bells coming back among teens the past couple of years. These things are cyclic.
