I wish I had had a camera in hand when I turned around and saw my three year old sitting on a 12 foot alligator in Gainesille. It would have taken 10 seconds to get the pic and Albert was asleep in the sun. As it was I walked over and picked her up and we left the area. Sounds terrible, I guess, but I am a Florida boy and know what to expect with the gators. This one was kept well fed by the students at UF for which it was a mascot.
