Explanation: What's happening above Uluru? A United Nations World Heritage Site, Uluru is an extraordinary 350-meter high mountain in central Australia that rises sharply from nearly flat surroundings. Composed of sandstone, Uluru has slowly formed over the past 300 million years as softer rock eroded away. The Uluru region has been a home to humans for over 22,000 years. Recorded last month, the starry sky above Uluru includes the central band of our Milky Way galaxy, complete with complex dark filaments of dust, bright red emission nebulas, and billions of stars.
Perhaps they have two of those and so far no one has noticed. That is ONE BIG desert down there.
Take the track to right, take the track to the left...??? Heck they’re all drunk on Fosters all the time anyway, easy to miss for a few centuries that there are twin rocks.

I first learned about Uluru in the 1980s. I’ve always wanted to just put my hand on it.
I was joking, too; but not about the right of the Aborigines to name what they’ve owned for thousands of years.
I did NOT dispute the aboriginals’ rights to use their traditional terms for anything they like. Every group has its own language, that’s all.
Cheers, mate!
Cheers to you, too.
But it has sacred *meaning* to the Aborigines, and was only named Ayer’s by someone, and after someone, who had no sacred attachment to it.
That’s why I like it to be called what the Aborigines call it.
