'If the accelerator pedal is fully pressed whilst driving and is unable to return to its resting position, the vehicle will continue to accelerate, even when the driver's foot is removed from the accelerator pedal.'Not a bug...

European made cars are poor quality cars when you consider how much you pay for them. A $25,000 North American car is often made to a higher standard.

In order to be sold in the US, do European super cars have to be modified in order to comply with US emission standards?

“The mystery of why a $300,000 Bentley crashed into the US-Canada border crossing at 100mph and exploded, killing a couple inside, may never be solved as police close the case.”
There are 3 possibilities.
He got the covid vaccine.
Climate change.
He had info on Hillary that could put her away.

Nope more like a design/quality issue.
While it doesn’t sound like it’s an issue here, throttle by wire sucks......almost killed my neighbor a couple of years ago

Toyota had an accelerator problem and it cost them billions. Still, they fixed it and you won’t see them making that mistake again. Now they’re the most reliable you can get.

In "the old days", if you reacted quickly, you could turn off they key switch, cutting off power to the ignition and fuel pump, shutting off the engine, allowing you to stop the car.
With today's push button start cars, it has to be in "park" to be able to shut it off.
What could possibly go wrong?

The “Flying Spur” is Bentley’s big four-door sedan. It’s basically a slightly less opulent and less ostentatious Rolls Royce. Bentley, like Rolls, doesn’t even give horsepower figures, instrad describing the car’s power as “adequate”.
To: Libloather
a manufacturing flaw that caused accelerators to get stuck while engagedI would think this would be an issue that would be a mandatory immediate fix, as in, we're sending a tow truck to your house today to pick up the car and fix it for you.

Last time I checked, Bentley was the very worst car as far as quality is concerned!
Just behind Tesla!

A trip to the local well equipped speed shop will put your car on a dyno to give you the bhp.

Yes. I’m also thinking it was climate change. He was probably distraught over the warmest day ever news.
