There's been a dramatic push by the legacy media to neutralize one of Vice President Kamala Harris' biggest vulnerabilities since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee: her longstanding "border czar" label.
Harris was widely dubbed the "border czar" after President Biden tasked her in March 2021 to address the root causes of mass migration from Central and South America. While the Biden administration has rejected the title, the term was widely used by her critics and even embraced by multiple news organizations, at least until she ascended to the top of the ticket.

Democrats like to take the credit for everything and the blame for nothing. The public disapproves of the handling of the border, so therefore she had nothing to do with it.

The Dims rejected her in the 2020 primaries, and praise God if enough of them reject her again.
House just voted to condemn Harris for her failure as the “border czar.” Six Democrats supported the resolution.
Debating her title is a distraction from the real issue.
The real issue is that the Trump admin believed that the root cause of illegal border crossings is an undefended border. SO he defended the border and crossings dropped.
The Biden admin claimed that the root cause was economic issues in Central America, so they did not defend the border and instead they focused on development economics in central America, which they put Harris in charge of. Result was (predictably) disastrous.
Trying to claim that Biden put Harris in charge of defending the border (he didn’t) distracts from the bigger issue: they were not trying to defend the border.

No matches found. Which can very well mean Google wiped with a cloth all links to “Border Czar”.
Because if the border were going so well they wouldn’t need to distance Harris from it..instead they would be commending her for a job well done..but because they know the border is an absolute DISASTER and she was part of it, they want to distance her from it..wont work..Biden made her border czar she failed miserably..wrap that title around her and watch the downfall

The “root cause” was Biden and Harris CONSTANTLY saying “Y’all come...freebies galore...and we’ve got ballots for you, all filled out.”

While in the middle of an obviously organized, corrupt and unpopular political scheme to import millions of illegals, they name her "Border Czar"
Her choices were either to publicly disavow the title, thus forcing her to go against her entire party, their on-going social engineering scheme, and their MSM propaganda, or embrace it, or do little/ nothing and hope it never came back to bite her in the ass.
It seems to me she chose the 3rd option

Yeah, they are busy wiping it, but it can still be found. I found the Lester Holt interview with Harris back in 2021, where he asked about her going to the border herself. It’s somewhere around the 4:35 mark where she says something like, “I haven’t been to Europe either. I don’t understand your point.”
