CHICAGO — Police are investigating five robberies, some of which turned violent, that were reported early Tuesday morning in the Loop, Lincoln Park, and Lakeview. There are indications that the same people may have committed some of the crimes.
In one incident, a 22-year-old woman was pepper sprayed and robbed near the Lincoln Park Zoo around 12:15 a.m. She was near the intersection of Fullerton and Cannon Drive when a man sprayed her and took her phone, according to initial information. EMS took her to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.
The other four robberies, all similar in nature, occurred within an hour, starting in the Loop around 2:40 a.m.
Police said a man and woman were walking in the 100 block of West Adams when four men stepped out of a car to rob them. The victims, a 49-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries they suffered when the group physically attacked them.

Vote for Kamala if you want more of the same
They probably already mailed in their ballots. I think that liberals/progressives are masochists at heart. All of the injustices and they can’t escape the guilt so they tell themselves it’s reparations.
The criminal (RIH) usually has the upper hand against the unaware, unsuspecting, innocent victim. Stay ware, stay safe, stay armed if you can.

Gee. Who’d a thought it might be dangerous to be out in Chicago at this time of day?
My thoughts exactly.
Maybe they’re just warming up for the Rat convention in August.

It’s them again, Yogi.
“All nice areas.”
It’s where the well-off city slicker prey live.
Both incidents listed happened in the wee hours of the morning. That’s an indicator.
