July 17 (UPI) -- It was a not-so-sweet, not-so-savory situation Wednesday morning on an Interstate 440 ramp in Raleigh, N.C., when an overturned truck spilled thousands of gallons of steak sauce.
Police said the tractor-trailer overturned about 1:45 a.m. on the ramp from Wade Avenue to I-440 and lost its load of steak sauce and teriyaki marinade gallon bottles into the roadway.
The driver was not injured, but the spilled cargo left a sticky mess that required several hours to clean up, officials said.
Morning commute drivers were advised to find alternate routes while crews worked to clear the truck and its saucy spill from the roadway.

I’ll be the first...
that’s truly an A-1 situation.
(At least it wasn’t Worchestershire sauce.)

History repeats. When I was but a boy, my dad and I came upon the scene of a tractor trailer carrying Kraft bar-b-cue sauce that had been cut in half by a freight train. Somewhere in North or South Carolina, it was, iirc.

I hear that pronounced as “Wash your sister” pretty regularly.

steak sauce and teriyaki marinade When they ramp up the investigation, the driver's gonna get skewered.
That's because you can count on the government to kikkoman when he's down.

I remember a tail gate opening on a truck carrying cut up animal parts spilling all down the black top interstate. There were car accidents all over due to the slick grease.
To: alternatives?
Several years ago here on Destin Bridge, a construction truck lost a case of roofing nails going up the bridge, which is kinda steep.
The construction company had to pay for a lot of new tires. I saw one tire that Sears put on display in their automotive department. It must have had a hundred nails in it....................

I’ve never liked steak sauce of any kind.
Just medium rare solid meat, no sauces!...................
