Model and rapper Amber Rose spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wis., on Monday, where she voiced her support for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
“I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States,” Rose said on stage.
“I’m no politician and I don’t wanna be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump,” the former reality TV star added. “I know this because for a long time, I believed those lies.”
Rose was among the featured speakers at the RNC on Monday endorsing Trump; others who addressed the RNC delegates include Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and Alabama Sen. Katie Britt.
“I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist,” Rose said, adding that she eventually watched “all the rallies” and started meeting so many of his “red hat-wearing supporters.”
“I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay or straight. It’s all love,” Rose said. “And that’s when it hit me: These are my people. This is where I belong.”
At the end of her speech, Rose said, “The left told me to hate Trump and even worse, to hate the other side — the people who support him. When you cut through the lies, you realize the truth: American families were better when Donald Trump was president. We were safer, wealthier and stronger.”
Another featured speaker was Sean O’Brien, the first Teamsters union president to speak at a Republican National Convention. (Big Labor has long been a Democratic stronghold.)
Although O’Brien praised Trump for having “the backbone to open the doors to this Republican convention,” he said the International Brotherhood of Teamsters has not yet endorsed a candidate.
The Teamsters president also took the opportunity to discuss the “economic terrorism” by big corporations and how the American worker is being taken for granted.
“The American people aren’t stupid. They know the system is broken. We all know how Washington is run. Working people have no chance of winning this fight. That’s why I’m here today, because I refuse to keep doing the same things my predecessors did,” O’Brien said.
Fake News has done everything in their power to stop one man than anything or anyone I’ve ever seen in my entire lifetime
I think her speech and the Teamster speech were the most powerful for outreach. Other speeches were good, but “preaching to the choir”. These two will get attention from the dark side, which is good.
I see what you did there. Fo’ shame! /s
Most of her pictures have a clear forehead. If that is a tattoo that is an awful place to put it.
of course they lied!
Trump was a public figure for DECADES and never once did he get accused of being racist until he ran for president (and here is the important part) as a Republican
I got up from the chair while watching the RNC and tried to read the tattoo on the forehead. Cant make it out. Never get a tattoo on your face, neck or hands.
I told my wife, “ you know they have tattoo removal lasers now”.
Oh bother….
It says bash and slash, in honor of her two sons.
It takes a big person to say “I did my own research, and I was wrong”.
Even more so when she admitted to setting out to prove her dad wrong that Trump was a good man. Then she did her own research and proved herself wrong.
Between this and the Teamsters President Trump is going right at the heart of the Democratic party. I watched the Young Turks reaction and they said, “This is the most Progressive speech I’ve seen in any convention”.
Now, I didn’t agree with everything he said but he did have some good points. They agreed with EVERYTHING. Point is, there is common ground with MAGA and and “Progressives”. The problem is, they refuse to even listen because they think Trump is Hitler.
I was wondering who she was.
“I see what you did there. Fo’ shame! /s”
Oops!! I just re-read the post, and I totally didn’t mean it THAT way. Seriously. I only meant “evil”. Apologies to anyone who was offended.

It says, “Take me Ragnar, I’m your’s !” ( sarc.)
Stop with the apology. If someone is "offended" that's their problem not yours. This is FR NOT DU, so I doubt anyone here is a snowflake woke pansy who would get offended!
It gave me a giggle because it was unintentional.
For those who may have missed it - here’s her speech on Youtube. Short and sweet, as they say.

No one here on FR was offended. That’s why I poked fun at your statement. /s is there for a reason!
