Any investigation into this “security lapse” should start from this stand point. The FBI are known stone wallers, and prevaricators. They should never be conducting an investigation.
Why did they allow him out until that was resolved. Nobody in the crowd would have cared if they had to wait an extra 1/2 hr.
Nobody is talking about this. Why was Trump not protected? If he was already on stage then why didn't they surround him with a wall and get him off the stage until the "all clear"?

President Trump did not trust the Secret Service. That is why he tried to stand up. I think he suspected that they would make him disappear.
Can the RNC hire loyal, decent protection? Or is that not allowed? Not everyone is willing to die to do that job. Armed Trump supporters would have done a better job of guarding.
It is noteworthy that she points out that a Trump event was held at the same location in Butler several years ago. This was news to me. She wondered aloud whether the setup was different years earlier.
If the setup was the same, everyone knew what to expect. If the setup was altered this time, that doesn't look good, either.

The same FBI that knows that their jobs and quite possibly their freedom from prison is ‘on the line’ if Trump wins back the presidency. And yeah, they are no doubt “all in” on that ‘by any means necessary’ part. It literally is evil vs. good in this war we’re in.

It is not like snipers are showing up to every rally and getting caught all the time.
Even if they had purposely left the roof unguarded at this particular event, they had no way of knowing some nuts would show up and go to that particular roof.
This is a story about incompetence and DEI hiring.
Why was there not at the very least a sheriffs deputy posted on that roof? Someone in authority needs to answer that question.
