A woman who was sitting behind Donald Trump when he survived an assassination attempt has sparked suspicion over her strange behavior.
Footage showing the unidentified woman wearing sunglasses, a white shirt and a black hat pulling out her phone as shots rang out at the Pennsylvania rally on Saturday has gone viral.
She did so while everyone else - including Trump - was still down on the ground in fear for their lives.
A post on X asking people to 'pay close attention' to the woman has been viewed more than 19 million times.
The images have even added fuel to some of the crazy conspiracy theories being shared following Saturday's shooting.
Another viral post reads: 'Gunshots ring out and her first instinct is to very, very calmly pull out her phone and film the whole spectacle. Does that seem like normal behavior to you?'
Some X users even theorized that the woman gave a 'a nod' before the first shot rang out - with one going as far as calling the woman 'an accomplice' without offering evidence.
However others argued that the woman's calm demeanor was due to mass shootings being so common in America.
One social media user said: 'Is this how numb we are to gun violence in America? Watch the woman in white with the black hat right behind Trump.
'Rather than take cover or - I don’t know - protect the child behind her - She takes out her phone and starts recording.'

This. If you have never trained for stress, you have no idea what your reaction will be. Fight, flight, freeze? For many its just disbelief of what is occurring directly in front of them. And so many have been self trained to just pull out their phone and start recording, no regard for the truck thats about to run them over.

I have a dear friend - very sensitive person. When she hears bad news she laughs - a la Kamala. A reflex action. Very embarrassing, but she cannot control it.
i dont believe he was involved. Just stating that there was a person not ducking. He stayed standing and just looking around and pulled out his camera.
She crouched down along with the rest of the people.
But she had the presence of mind to record it.
I liked the boonie hat guy. Looked like he’d maybe been under fire before and was looking to tackle any hostiles he might see.
It’s the world we live in today. Instead of reacting like we would have a decade ago, people now days take out their phones and document everything.

Trump’s team repeatedly requested the DHS, which is in charge of USSS, for more SS protection, there were not enough assigned to Trump. No replys from DHS, despite repeated requests for many weeks.

My Best friend from college days is a television news videographer (we used to call them camera men).
His thought process is always “get the shot” and personal safety second. He’s never been seriously injured but his reporters have, over the years, pulled him to safety when he was shooting.
Someone wondered if the local cops told the Secret Service by radio that a man with a gun was on the roof——meaning shut down the speech and cover Donald Trump.

The local cops told SS that, an ordinary citizen told the SS, and the SS snipers saw the assassination, had to wait for orders from superior to shoot him. Did not get orders until after the assassin fired shots.
Make of that what you will. It’s clear to me.
Another guy told a reporter that he went to a rally in the same venue a couple of years ago and security were all over the place, on every roof, etc. This time the security was totally different, hardly any.
There’s no need for “theories”. It is clear the fedbois were complicit in allowing the shooter to try his best, but by the grace of God he failed.
She was probably calm because she know she wasn't the target. Now, she's waiting for the news media be$t offer.
