Preliminarily, let me say what I wrote yesterday: Trump’s near miss seems to have an element of Divine Providence to it, reminiscent of how George Washington invariably emerged from the heat of battle unscathed. Just sayin’. Now, to the topic at hand, which is the Secret Service’s performance before, during, and after the assassination attempt. It wasn’t good.
Ironically, just yesterday, I finished reading Lee Child’s Without Fail, which was published in 2008. In it, Jack Reacher works with the female head of the Vice President’s Secret Service detail to help foil an assassination attempt. Unlike most Reacher novels, this one had no fistfights. Instead, it focuses tightly on what the Secret Service does to protect politicians.
I don’t know what kind of research Child did, but the point he makes repeatedly—and it’s an obvious and intuitive one—is that the Secret Service must control the high ground. Every rooftop or high floor within range of a politician is a potential platform for an assassin.
In Butler, Pennsylvania, however, not only did the Secret Service seemingly make no effort to control a rooftop within relatively easy shooting distance of a former president and current presidential candidate, but Secret Service agents also seemed disinterested in repeated warnings that a man with a gun had crawled on top of a building that gave him a clear shot at President Trump. This video shows the first eyewitness we heard from, but reports are that several other people saw the same thing and had the same response from Trump’s security detail—that is, no response:

Do you have a source for that info?
Almost like it was a plan. 🤔
1. According to one report, Trump had been asking for additional security for weeks and was denied.
2. Failure to secure the high ground.
3. Failure to be aware of the surroundings. The guy was allegedly visible for several minutes.
4. Failure to respond quickly to warnings from people who noticed the guy.
5. It looked to me like the secret service was slow to cover Trump.
6. Failure to prosecute all of those democrats who had called for violence against Trump.

7 Using short, poorly trained women as body shields. Short female agent, due to her lack of height, exposes Trump multiple times getting him off stage. Shoves taller male agent out of her way, making him unavailable to protect Trump.
8. No agents near Trump on stage.
9. Failure to have a plan in place to protect Trump.
10. Failure to move quickly to get Trump off the stage.
Was "obviously photoshopped"
Last one against a Democrat was RFK. Last one against a Republican was Steve Scalise, before that, Reagan.
Hey, Cheatle ticks off all the DEI checkboxes. She even has a wife! So no way is the Biden regime gonna get rid of her.
Besides, she was just obeying orders...
Not only was this obvious position not covered - but, just by happen stance, on this occasion, somebody KNEW to take advantage of it.
Yes, this guy could just have been an idiot thinking this roof wouldn’t be covered. But that is the inconvenient coincidence for the SS.
What are the odds that this obvious location wasn’t covered, just this one time, and a 20 year old useful-idiot was able to exploit it without help?
It isn’t a conspiracy theory. It’s just too unprofessional, it had to be planned.
The Deep State was scared. Now they should be terrified.
The left don’t seem to realize either, they were 1 inch from a civil war against them.
“The counter snipers need to testify in front of Congress with the question being “was there any don’t shoot first order”?
I know it’s been said that they shot the assassin so quickly as part of the “plot”, but if it had been me and I didn’t have permission to shoot, I’d have kept the guy in my sights and fired as soon as I could after he did.
Shortly after 9-11 my wife and I were in London's Gatwick airport waiting to fly home when we noticed an abandoned bag in the waiting lounge. We looked around and didn't see anyone walking back for it or anything, so we told security about it. They reacted with ... crickets - no response. We moved to the end of the waiting room as far from it as we could get. After about 15 minutes, it was still there by itself. After about 1/2 hour it was gone, but I didn't see who took it. IMHO, an unattended bag should've been treated as a serious threat.
And the SS should've had their own people on top of the building where the shooter was.
And who do you think wrote the screenplay?
The Democrats had it all times out. They demonize him (Trump is Hitler, threat to our democracy) was suppose to separate him from his supporters. Then the raid on his home (with more agents serving a warrant they they had in his protection detail) and then the court cases, one after another. The cases have no merit but they did not care they just wanted a conviction so they could label him a “convicted felon”, and don’t forget them trying to bankrupt him.
By this time Trump should have been broke, alone, and in prison where in his depressed state he would commit suicide while the security cameras were turned off.
Instead he is rushing towards a possible landslide that will be too big to rig.
Not going the way they thought it would
Now the question is was this assassination attempt the back up plan?
I am not sure what the red oval is supposed to show.
Maybe Kevin Roberts
It sure looks like the backup plan. Occam's razor and stuff.

That pic is widely shown to be a magnificent capture of the bullet that wounded President Trump streaming. Where are all the people behind him, I keep asking ???????
Kevin Roberts doesn’t publish anonymously.
Next guess?
The Secret is that the Secret Service is the Deep State and the Deep State planned this. They tried to kill President Trump - the Secret Service “shooters” had only one job which was to shoot and kill anyone with a gun that was trying to kill their protectee. They did NOT fail by accident or stupidity. To the contrary the shooters were part of the plot and their job was to kill the shooter after his mission whether it was successful or not. It failed and they killed him- end of questions. Now arrest the two Secret Service shooters for NON FEASENCE which is undeniable - that will give us a way to hold them and detain them without saying we think they are guilty of a much greater crime.
