Dave Portnoy slams George Clooney in expletive-laden rant for calling on Joe Biden to step down - and fumes at Hollywood star for 'only just finding out the President is a vegetable'
Daily Mail ^ | 7/10/24 | Ben Nagle

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy launched into a furious tirade at George Clooney on Wednesday, after the Hollywood A-lister U-turned on Joe Biden and called for him to pull out of the presidential race.

Clooney's op-ed in the New York Times stunned the world, as he asked Biden, 81, to step down just three weeks after hosting a record-breaking $28 million fundraiser for the president on June 16.

Portnoy was quick to give his thoughts on the incredible turn of events, taking to X to give his scathing take.

'What a f****** hero this guy is,' he says of Clooney, who claimed in his piece that the President 'was not the Joe "big f-ing deal" Biden of 2010' when they met last month.

'So what, George?' Portnoy continued. 'If he didn't do the debate and wasn't a vegetable, you were just going to keep your mouth shut?

'And by the way, if you just found out Biden is a vegetable, where have you been for two years? Everyone knows he's a vegetable.

'The guy can't get on and off a stage without getting lost, he talks about dead people like he had lunch with them yesterday. He can't f****** ride his bike without falling down. He can't get up and down f****** Air Force One without taking a tumble.

Hamas sympathizer Amal Clooney chose to skip Joe Biden's high-profile $28million fundraiser after clash over Benjamin Netanyahu. Clooney is whipped.

HOORAY Dave. Sir Keir Starmer, “I know Amal...she’s a first class lawyer”

(What’s the difference between a lawyer and a carp? One is a scum-sucking bottom feeder and the other is a fish.)

I’m not a prude ...or maybe I’m turning into one as I get older, but can’t people talk without using the f-word? Is it still possible to get your point across with plain English?

So, he host a fund raiser for the Pedophile in Chief without talking to the guest of honor?

I have to assume that he did.

He had a conversation (probably several) with Biden and didn't notice that he was a little off?

He probably witnessed Biden's interactions with numerous other attendees. People don't contribute thousands of dollars without meeting the candidate. The more they contribute the more time they expect.

Clooney and many others at the fund raiser noticed that Biden was running on empty in the mental gas tank and said nothing until after the debate and it became unavoidable.

They must have been dreading the debate and been planning their escape.

It’s been said that Obama had been grooming Clooney to be POTUS. Maybe 2024 is when we’ll see his name on the ticket. There’s got to be a big reason why Clooney is getting mouthy on this subject now when he could’ve done it years ago. Everyone knew he was a veggie.

but can’t people talk without using the f-word?

If the person is secure in their beliefs, yes. If not, they stun their audience with f-bombs to ward off challenges to their beliefs. It's instinctive behavior to survive within their insecure domain.

They were distracted by Obama, on purpose. Like a ventriloquist that wants to remind you he's the star, not his puppet.

The "f-word" is merely a brief written expression of anger. It doesn't mean "f" the way it used to. It's meant to be unconventional (i.e., shocking) because it expresses unconventional, atypical anger or irritation.

Compare this to the way an English gentleman used to express his anger by saying something understated like, "I'm feeling a bit peevish." The "f-word" conveys a more accurate sense that a person saying it is declaring that he isn't a Victorian gentleman and he isn't just a "bit peevish."

It's another way of saying "I'm extremely irate and disgusted" in fewer words (and without sounding like someone's great-great-grandmother).

Why anyone gives a rat’s a$$ about what George Clowney thinks about anything, is beyond me.
He’s proven time & time again, to be nothing but a famous fool.

But is it still? It's used so casually now that our ears have become deaf to it.

Letting a choice word slip out every now and then is understandable. But to use it as a noun, verb and adjective in everything we say is just lazy.

Maybe it wasn’t Obama himself doing the grooming, but his people. This is what I read:

“There’s a lot of political newbies around, so some background is needed first. Most people don’t know but, George Clooney was being groomed by the same people who groomed Barack Obama, for the purposes of replacing him at a later date. Yes, Clooney was being groomed to be a POTUS.”

Although I do think I heard Bongino say Obama was the grooom-ER.
