It covers different restaurants recipes like McDonalds's Big Mac and KFC coleslaw (I already have this recipe and it is spot on!), brand recipes like Heath Bars and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and even how to make mayonnaise and cream cheese.
Gonna be messing with this one for awhile!
To Serve Man
Does it have a recipe for smoked Uncle Bosey?
“At Home With The French Classics” Grausman.
I prefer the ones with color pictures.
I am looking for Korowai Tribe Cookbook. Can anyone help me find one?
It’s no good without the marinade and recipe for Schaub’s Meat, Fish & Poultry famous “Fred Steak.”
Arthur Treachers fish batter. Worth it.
I don’t cook (I am not allowed in the kithcen), but it’s fun to see how to make a Big Mac or Baby Ruth candy bars.
“KFC coleslaw (I already have this recipe and it is spot on!)”
Probably the only reason to go to KFC, short of the only game in town.
I have a cookbook like that. It has one of my favorites — Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden.
I’m not big on a lot of these places, but will take a look at anything by the Four Seasons and the Waldorf-Astoria. There was one time I remember my family going to NYC after my family started making ends meet. My Dad, to reward himself (and us, it was a family business by then!) took us to both of these places, to show himself that he had MADE IT! (We often tent camped for our vacations, so eating at fancy places, and staying in a hotel room for a night or two, were real achievements.)
Oh, and I meant to say thank you!
“and cream cheese”
Tillamook Cream Cheese just won a Gold Medal at the international cheese judging contest in Manchester, England.
Sounds interesting. I need a KFC Cole slaw recipe.
The “Taste of Home” Copycat Recipes book has some interesting recipes.
Thanks. Can’t wait to try the A-1 Sauce recipe. A-1 has become ridiculously expensive so if this recipe is good it’ll save $$$.
God Bless you, darlin!
Speaking of KFC coleslaw, our grandson worked there, and he said they put 5 lbs! of sugar in a vat of coleslaw!
Thanks.
Thank you!
