A double murderer dubbed ‘Deathpool killer’ flashed strange hand signals and smirked as a jury recommended the death penalty for brutally killing two women on the same day.
Wade Wilson, 30, who has the same name as the Marvel character, wiggled his right fingers and made a gesture with his left hand and otherwise displayed no emotion while hearing a jury’s decision.
Wilson’s mysterious signal, and his face tattoos including stitching marks extending his mouth line, went viral. The man with slicked black hair appeared to attract some female fans.
He was convicted in mid-June of killing Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, just hours apart in October 2019.
Wilson met Melton at a bar with live music in Cape Coral, Florida, on October 6, and went home with her. The next day, he strangled her to death and her body was found inside her residence.
Hours later, Ruiz, a Cape Coral bartender and engaged mother-of-two, was reported missing after walking to work and last being seen speaking to Wilson, who asked her for directions. Wilson lured Ruiz into a car he was driving and had stolen from Melton’s home.
When Ruiz tried to flee, he strangled her and shoved her out of the vehicle, then ran over her at least 20 times.
Wilson’s horrific acts of murder drew no sympathy from his father, Steven Testasecca, who told the jury that his son had boasted ‘excitedly’ about the killings.
‘He said that he pulled her out of the car and realized she was still breathing,’ Testasecca recounted Wilson saying of Ruiz’s murder.
‘He said he got back in the car and ran her over until she looked like spaghetti.’
Prosecutor Sara Miller detailed Wilson’s meticulous planning for the double murders and called the acts ‘shockingly evil and vile
‘Both murders were especially heinous, atrocious, and cruel,’ said Miller. ‘He inflicted pain, and he showed utter indifference to her (Melton’s) life.’
Last Tuesday, ten of the 12 jurors recommended the death penalty for Ruiz’s murder. Nine jurors favored capital punishment for Melton’s murder.
Judge Nicholas Thompson is scheduled to decide whether to impose the death penalty on Wilson during his July 23 sentencing.
Dressing them up in a suit and tie doesn’t really help much when they have a swastika on their face, and another one on their scalp.
Folks like him give Nazis a bad name.
Justice may not wait...
Unbelievably evil jerk, smirking as jury recommends death penalty.
Fry him.
No, I don't agree. Garrote via the traditional mechanism, with the screw being slowly turned so he has time to contemplate what is happening.
He may be one of the six actual Nazis in the country, i.e. who aren’t FBI agents. Come to think of it, he mught just be an FBI agent - considering his regard for the rights and lives of others. Right, Lon Horiuchi?
He should have stated he was an associate of Hunter Biden
Why would any sane woman talk to a freak like that?
Thread title states “Deadpool killer” yet the posted excerpted text says “Deathpool killer”.
I was wondering the same, but then I checked further. His mugshot shows him with a neck tattoo, but it doesn’t show any face tattoos or swastikas, so he must not have had those tattoos when he murdered the victims.
God help us. Such evil.
Regards,
Ryan Reynolds got some ‘splainin’ to do.
As opposed to the other folks who give nazis a good name? Aren’t all nazis bad? 🤣
No, Oskar Schindler was a good Nazi.
OMG!!! Makes them VERY EASY to IDENTIFY!! Thanks, DUMBASS!!
Well, that is the position of Antifa, and the SPLC.
The fact that they had racial views is, in my opinion, part of culture. On some level, everyone is racist. They also weren’t wrong in wanting Germany for the Germans either- an aspect of nationhood itself. It’s also perfectly reasonable to want a determined government. I’m pretty sure the thing that made nazis the bad guys was the concentration camps. Wierd! Apparently sticking 6 million people in ovens & gas chambers gives you a spotty reputation. Whod have guessed? Some people are so touchy!! 😉🙄😬
Well, concentration camps were a British invention and were used by the Americans in World War II. Indeed they aren't a far reach from the Trail of Tears.
As you noted, the gas chambers were an innovation, but what about the smallpox infested blankets given to the indians? And the 'final solution' was reached because other proposed solutions were blocked by the British (Palestine), French (Madagascar), and Americans (Cuba). Good guys vs. Bad guys doesn't quite look the same under closer study.
