I enjoyed the Mall of America.
It’s definitely worth a visit.
My youngest daughter moved there 2 yrs ago. She’s in an apartment by Loring Park 2 blocks from Hennepin. She loves it there, especially since it’s so different from AZ. I try not to worry but it’s hard.
Meant to say she lives in downtown Minneapolis.

Unfortunately, it was years ago, but I just looked at the internal map of it on my phone, and there are still a lot of the stores there, and new ones.

Downtown can get crazy after dark and on the weekends, same with the MOA.
Avoid Mall of America…large tourist trap and now roving gangs of feral youth prowl the mall. Avoid downtown Minneapolis…a dangerous place these days. I live in a Twin Cities suburb and am glad to get away from the Twin Cities. Head to northern MN instead.
I go to the MOA when I have to go to Mendota Heights for work. It’s good.
But I am from Memphis so I’m used to scary things and Minneapolis seems tame by comparison.
