He was 7’5” when we filmed him 2 years ago.
7’6” last year (this video).
7’7” earlier this year.

When he goes pro he’s going to be riding a lot of airplanes. Poor guy.
We’re gonna have to beef him up so he doesn’t get pushed around in the paint.
They fly on charter aircraft. No leg length issues in the NBA travel world.

In college basketball terms the Gators have a tall team, they started a 7’1 guy at center last year who will sit out this year due to a badly broken ankle and have 6’11 transfer center coming in, there is a picture of him standing next to both, he towers over both of them.
This kid surprisingly is not on scholarship at the moment he is on the team as a walk on, he’s a real project that doesn’t show a lot of basketball skills, evidently, he’s not been playing basketball all that long.
He does show some basic athletic ability, if he works hard and has good coaching, he’s got a chance because of his size ot be real factor.

Shoe size?
It’s always startling to see a kid this tall, but seems to me this phenomenon is becoming more common.
In the same way as when a White Buffalo calf is born.
It gets attention, but is no longer as rare as some celestial event.
When you’re that tall, it effects every aspect of your life.
He probably feels that he lives among Lilliaputians. (sp).
Luckily, this fellow looks to be in proportion, not Megalo.
Gives Gator fans something to be hopeful about after yesterday evening’s elimination from the College World Series. (Maybe having to play two games in one day was a factor—that wouldn’t have happened except for bad weather on Tuesday.)

Not at the collegiate level but I’ve played double illumination tournaments......softball AND baseball, and I can tell you it’s a grind. At the college level tryng to win your way through the losers bracket usually burns through the pitching staff and that’s pretty much what happened to UF, and FSU for that matter.
I suspect the double illumination was hard on the eyes.
Teach him the sky hook. He’ll be a star.
