He shouldn’t go. I wouldn’t trust them not to do something more than just excommunicate me.

Vigano is a decent and good man.

I would love to see him start his own church, many if not most will follow him.

The Cardinal is right about all he speaks out about.
Ex-communicated from a dean of homosexuals using the church as a means to access children is a proud moment for him, personally. It is a moment in history of shame for the church.

Likewise, I have been surprised that Pope Francis hasn't taken action against Archbishop Vigano before this--he has been very outspoken. Maybe the last straw was Vigano recently saying that Bergoglio is a homosexual.

In 1948 Stalin summoned Tito to Russia and Tito refused to go, knowing he would likely be killed. I don't know what Bergoglio plans to do to him other than excommunication--I think you would have to go back centuries to find a pope who killed someone because he hated him. Maybe Alexander VI is the most recent.

I can see it now:

Devout Catholic: sede vacante<
Francis the Apostate: But I'm seated right here in the Vatican
Devout Catholic: You're a man sitting in a chair, nothing more.

But Biden says he is Catholic while Xi does not.

So...that’s at least a little more Catholic.

To be excommunicated by this evil pope, Vigano should wear this as a badge of honor.

Surprised the VBI, with CNN in tow, hasn’t done a pre-dawn raid, deadly force authorized, on his dwelling.

Exactly, and he'll be free to speak the truth without being censored by The Heretic.

My understanding is that the Roman Catholic church does not permit by Canon or otherwise - the ability to remove or challenge a Pope. Unless a Pope dies or resigns, he is treated as the Vicar of Christ and head of the Roman Catholic Church - despite any shortcoming or apostacy.

When you have this type of governance, no one should be surprised by abuses that may arise. The adage, 'absolute power corrupts absolutely', has been proven true repeatedly. Some would like to believe that the Chair of Peter is an exception to this rule. When we study the history of the Pope's, we see otherwise.

The genius of our founders is that they understood the principal of 'absolute power corrupts absolutely' and attempted to construct governance/laws/constitution to address man's weakness.

Should the Roman Catholic Church allow for some type of impeachment and removal process for its Pope? Bishops could act similar to our House and Cardinals could act similar to our Senate. If not, why not? What say our Catholic friends?

Maybe the last straw was Vigano recently saying that Bergoglio is a homosexual.

LOL, I must have missed that one. I think yo are on to the cause. 🤣

This pope is either a joke, a fraud and most like both. His Climate Change BS is basically saying that the Lord has no say in the outcome of that. Reagan was correct when he said trees themselves produce significant quantities of air pollution and have been doing so far longer than automobiles, and yet here we are.

Electric cars do far more damage to this planet than do gas combustion cars.

But he's a leftist without question, and quite possibly a homosexual too. One thing he isn't is a Christian.

From message Vigano posted on X:

The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has informed me, with a simple email, of the initiation of an extrajudicial penal trial against me, with the accusation of having committed the crime of schism and charging me of having denied the legitimacy of “Pope Francis” of having broken communion “with Him” and of having rejected the Second Vatican Council. I have been summoned to the Palace of the Holy Office on June 20, in person or represented by a canon lawyer. I assume that the sentence has already been prepared, given that it is an extrajudicial process.

I regard the accusations against me as an honor. I believe that the very wording of the charges confirms the theses that I have repeatedly defended in my various addresses. It is no coincidence that the accusation against me concerns the questioning of the legitimacy of Jorge Mario Bergoglio and the rejection of Vatican II: the Council represents the ideological, theological, moral, and liturgical cancer of which the Bergoglian “synodal church” is the necessary metastasis.

Maybe Vigano will turn the tables and arrest the imPopestor — and then be elected to the Chair of Peter. 🙏🏻

Peter committed errors amd was corrected but later popes pretend the to be incapable of error. Thus proving they are fallible humans.
