Former First Lady Melania Trump was snapped running around New York City with an extravagant handbag on her arm Tuesday, while her presidential hopeful hubby campaigns more than 1,200 miles away in Wisconsin.
Melania, wearing a head-to-toe all-white ensemble, was flanked by Secret Service guards as she ducked into Trump Tower.
The former model’s wedding band was on full display as she sported a matching white Hermes Birkin bag — which can fetch as much as $33,000 on the resale market.
The fashionista also appeared to be wearing Christian Louboutin flats, which retail for a comparatively reasonable $700.

I’ve never known anyone Trump-wealthy, but I have known some well-off people. My aunt and uncle owned shopping centers and a huge amount of commercial property. They drove frumpy family cars, lived in an upper middle-class neighborhood and dressed from Kmart. The people I most often see with designer clothes and Gucci handbags are definitely lower class.
A friend who drove the 1956 Studebaker I now own said he’d park next to his boss’ super car, and it annoyed the boss that people would come over to look at the Studebaker and ignore his $200k car. Me? I can’t tell a designer thingy from a knockoff. And, even if I could, I don’t care. The average person with expensive stuff is into hock up to his eyeballs.

The bag, made by Hermes of Paris, is apparently collectible. They dont sell for that much new - ok, expensive, in the low thousands, but not like that. Who knew there are handbag collectors?
She might have got it many years ago. If so it was a good investment.
To me her description speaks volumes! She is a fashion icon to be reckoned with. Those pieces of crap are so jealous of her. She is an epitome of what a first lady should look like and how one should carry themselves after in the eye of the public.
