Willie Mays, the iconic Hall of Fame center fielder who is known as the greatest all-around baseball player of all time, died Tuesday, the San Francisco Giants announced. He was 93 years old.
2ND GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER PLAY THE GAME. Would have hit 820 Home Runs if he didn’t play in Candelstick.

Don’t know if he stayed active and relatively healthy.

Mackey Mantle was my boyhood hero. I just thought Willie played for the wrong team.
I remember seeing Willie hit a homer at Dodger stadium in the early 60s when he was with the Giants. I think it was my very first pro baseball game.
100s of games later I still remember it like it was yesterday.
Wow. He made it to 93.
