Well it looks like Tokyo Disneyland and Disney is a 50/50 business deal, and Tokyo Disneyland is not going to cancel one of its most popular rides.

What is with the liberal hatred of the movie, "Song of the South"?

The Dims don't want any trace left reminding people of their role in the Antebellum south.

We'd all be better off if they understood Jesus' ability to forgive and redeem. As long as the Dims hold onto the shame of their past guilt, they try to bring the rest of us down to their level with their white guilt.

Didn’t the fags at BLM decide Splash Mounting was “Wasis?”

Uncle Remus was allegedly an obsequious character, and not a positive depiction of a black man.

Disney won't let you see Song of the South. Watch it here and judge for yourself.

Song of the South

They hate SotS for the same reason they hate Gone With the Wind. The portrayal of black men as an "Uncle Tom" willing to get along with white people in a subservient role. Rather they want all portrayals as the black man being consumed with hatred and wanting to kill all the white people. Despite historical evidence that supports both depending on the person.

A certain segment who purport to speak for the "black community" believes that it degrades blacks and minimizes the impact of slavery. Song of the South is based on Joel Chandler Harris's Tales of Uncle Remus which relates American negro folktales, some with roots in Africa, which depict the misadventures of anthropomorphized animal characters, told by an elderly former slave. The stories are compelling, sweet, innocent and uplifting, so naturally the left hates them.

Harris grew up in disadvantageous circumstances in the post-bellum South, and was intimately familiar with the "black community", for whom he both respect and affection. Mark Twain, when he was living in Connecticut, hosted a dinner party for the neighborhood children, featuring as guest of honor Mr. Harris. When he as introduced to the party assembled, they all showed their disappointment by crying in unison, "He's white!"

I used to work at Tokyo Disneyland. They run a tight ship, you better believe it. Of course, Disney has a presence there to make sure they are properly represented and to put in their official 2 cents, but TKL has a mind of its own.
Still, TKL only rents the Disneyland name and has to be mindful, though I can’t see Disney denying them the name and losing out on the huge profits.
When Disney Paris came about, Disney tried to avoid ceding so much control to foreign companies as they did in Japan. Didn’t work out so well. Disney thought they understood the French culture better than the French corporations. Kaboom!

Local Miami media was thrilled to report the “new” ride is based on that cartoon movie from a few years ago with a black princess...I think it was set in New Orleans.

What was funny was that the Democrat media said it was a successful movie.... But it was a box office bomb.

Liberals, progressives, democrats (whatever we call them now) hate blacks and minorities. They hate that a little white boy was friends with a black man. They hate seeing a black man on their breakfast table. They hate seeing a black woman on a syrup bottle. They hate seeing a box of butter with an Indian girl. But definitely most offensive is a white boy befriending a black man. Intolerable by them.

BUT... They will replace it with some homo groomers in drag showing boys and girls how they can be different genders. Slash Mountain as it goes through a magical land of surgeons chopping off the body parts of children.

My family used to live in the Orlando area, so we went to Walt Disney World more than once. When my daughter was a kid, Splash Mountain was her favorite ride, and we usually planned going on it first, because of the long lines.

I have fond memories of those days. But now we have all moved to other states, and because Walt Disney World is terribly over priced, I don’t think my grandchildren will ever go there. And because Disney has embraced the queer culture, I hope they don’t go there.
